Ok the Bible says god is perfect correct. Ok perffection mean a state of completeness and flawlessness. Look it up if you question me. Ok here is my point, why did god need to create anything if he was complete. The bible teaches he created man to worship him and love him. Ok he must be lacking something if he needs love and worship. If you are complete you need nothing. He wouldn't have needed to create anything at all except just sit there and be happy. Also if he created man perfect how did man mess up. if man was created perfect he couldn't mess up it's impossible to mess up when you are perfect. Pleas give me good answers and not just saying we made a mistake and sinned again if we were perfect created perfect we couldnt have sinned

If the Declaration of Independence was meant to be a separation of church and state, then why does it end with these words?

"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of the devine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."

how do you think religions are created.
My theory:
People created dieties to explain the stuff they don't know and to escape their problems.

Based on the theory i've composed, then as science advanced, religion will eventually die out in a couple centuries(or more/less depending on how science advances)

Anyone agree/disagree?
Have any other theories?

My Christian brothers and sisters, as hard as it is, can we agree to not sink to the level of some of the people that hang out in the R&S category? They are trying to make us mad because we have something they don't. Let's not let them cause us to act un-Christ like. Ok? We should rejoice in persecutions, and bless and pray for those who curse us. Christ lives in us. Let's show these people His character. Peace.

I am on a high school reunion web site and my intentions to belong to this site were not godly. Some clasmmates were very cruel and mean to me.
To be quite frank I wanted to show my classmates how far I came and to prove them wrong that I can do anything they can do.

I wrote a hostile e-mail to one of my classmates that people who picked on me should be punished by God because they were mean. On the website I became very preachy in my words and basically "took over" the web site with my self rightouness because that is just what is was and someone called me out on this and e-mailed the class about it.

I became hurt and offended and even left the website to prove how mad I was this person and I were BOTH wrong.

I am now back on the website but feelings were hurt. How can I prevent being self righteous? What can I do to not take people so personal and to heart? What can I do to help people come to the Lord rather than turn them off to God?

If you have please describe the feeling, and if you were given a message.I did about 3 weeks ago,I was in bed sound asleep and a wonderful presence came and just sat on my bed,I thought it was my husband,as we were in a argument earlier. So I thought he just came to bed late. When I woke I said did you come to bed last night he said no.I began to cry because this was such a comforting presence.I do remember saying HI,and then falling back to sleep as this presence just made me feel comforted just by being there.I think it was an angel,a nice looking angel,I would never be so relaxed by it otherwise.Well know you all may think Im a complete nut case, for you who will not barate me I thank you in advance.

never - ever further explain that God also said that He would keep His promise, but
"ONLY if they avoided "WAR AND STRIFE"?..
..A UN resolution
'gave' them a parcel of land, not GOD. The UN was not a 'vehicle' ---
Surely God did not mean for them to fight to the end until they obtained this land. In fact, if God wants all of to get along with each other--if He wants us all to love each other, and if the Jews are his "chosen' (which they are not) then why would HE want people to fight each other, over land and riches, etc.? He is the Almighty. He knows all.
One must wonder why there are so many different interpretations of the Bible....one must also wonder why the Bible glorifies death and destruction. One must wonder if the Bible was truly written by men of God,
or if God's words were profoundly misunderstood.
One is also caused to wonder if, the "Promised Land" was indeed a pregnant promise, born prematurely.
