I like quite a few of the Bible stories. But I really like the story about Peter being allowed to walk on the water with Jesus (Matthew 14: 22-32). He stepped out in faith, but then sank again due to fear. Without the fear, he could've keep right on walking on the waves. It teaches us a lot about what we could potentially do if we simply trusted Jesus and abandoned our fears.

ME too. Right now, I REEEEALLY ID with Job. I think my favorite Bible story has always been the one where Jesus is on the sea and tells it to "hush be quiet". My Mom used to read Bible stories to me and my brothers all the time.
I think one of the most poinent ones for my life with my siblings right now is Cain and Able. There are allot of things to learn. One is, if your big brother asks to go for a long walk with you, DON'T DO IT:D

All of them.
I like Job too, especially because I went through some of that, it was bad, but I did learn and was transformed, I was able to see the whole picture, and came to understand everything, as if the door was open for the first time.
Sometimes we are lead through experiences to open us up, to change, and test.
This verse of Job always stuck with me after that..... When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. Job 23:10

Jesus draws in the sand and then prounouces that those without sin should cast the first stone at the woman caught in adultery. What a wonderful world it would be if only the truly innocent could prounounce judgement and throw stones!

The creation story (Genesis), it's just so wacky and way out there... It's the literary equivalent of a Salvidor Dali painting.
