humans to worship him? is it ego? lack of self esteem?

i ask this based on an answer to my previous question of why god created the earth and put humans on it. this was one of the answers: So his creation could worship Him...

so why is he "in need" of worship?

Would you search out stores that sell products that are not tested?

No comments about experiments for medical purposes please...that is a different issue completely.

This is not a joke question....i'm seriously interested on the Christian view on this.

hint:
because Jesus was beyond religion lies and depections and DID NOT want his life turned into a religion...
Look what the ignorant christians/catholics/muslims, etc........... have created???
What a shame and pity that people actually believe in the lies and deceptions of religion...

I love it when people answer my questions like this. As ludicrous and absurd and harsh as my questions may be. It really draws out the people who seem to be only "God's children" in name and not in their actions. Just look at the above quote someone wrote. Is this how you show God's love? No wonder I don't want anything to do with people like that.

Is this the mentality of the country we live in?

Do people really believe we would be better off if we all walked around carrying a gun?

Have you read the number of postings on this site alone which claims....that if the students would have been armed that this tragic accident may not have happened?

Is this of Christ?

Many Americans are not responsible in the rest of their lives...how could we trust so many with a gun?

It's almost humerous how the Athesist continue to use the "religious" section to voice their opinion by slam-dunking other people's religious beliefs. It's so ironic that religion annoys them so much they just can't stay away from it.

It does'nt effect me if you don't tell the truth on here.
I want you to think about it. Really think about it, in this ever changing world of keeping up with the Jones'.

In Mathew 19:16-23 When Jesus was speaking to the rich man who wanted to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
He told Him to go give his goods to the poor and then come come back.
The man went away sad.
....these worldly items that only moths and rust destroy!

Answer if you would, but most of all know in your heart what is.

Weather forecasting is becoming far more accurrate as computers become able to produce better simulations. Is that not proof that there can't be a god controlling the weather?
If there is, doesn't it mean we're learning to predicts his actions through computer modelling?

I am a muslim, and will be to my dying breath. I try to debunk myths and stereotypes in my questions so that those who feel better about themselves after bashing us will see that what they've been told is propaganda and verses taken out of context. And, as my avatar indicates, I am very proud in the happy sense, not the vain sense, to be of my religion and who I am. Does your faith get bashed, and if so, would you like to post the facts on this question? Go for it. I won't judge, as I am not like that, and am very open to others opinions as well as learning about their beliefs.

If Right Wingers weren't so high on Jesus, would that make them less inclined to.....

1) buy and keep guns around the house.
2) support a war mongerring president (who also claims to be high on Jesus)
3) If they weren't so convinced of an eternal afterlife, would they have more value for human life?

Christians have an old saying: "You only love God as much as you love the person whom you love the least."

Do you agree with this?

Who is the least-loved person in your life and why?

What have you (or will you) do to increase your love for this person?

I encourage each of you to reach out to this person today and show them you care, regardless of what their reaction may be.

I wish you all peace.

in catholic comunion, people eat Christs body and drinks his blood. This seems a bit like cannibalism. ¿why is this done in this way? I know this was donde in the last supper with the disciples, but the "way" in which catholics come together with Christ could be different. Why is it "eating" him?
