If you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.
You can go and ask any questions you want.
This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.
There is no obligation to become a Catholic.
With love and prayers in Christ.

Call your local Catholic Church and tell them that you're interested in RCIA classes. These are the classes required for all converts to Catholicism. There's no obligation with the classes (in other words, if you later decide not to convert, there'll be no pressure on you to do so). If you do convert, you'll go through the rituals of Confirmation and Baptism (if you haven't been baptized) prior to being received into the Church. After your reception into the Church, you'll take your First Communion. It takes a while to do the classes, but the Church wants to make sure that potential converts know what they're converting to and why.

Contact a priest at the local Catholic parish. He can give you the details for entering RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.
You will be educated in the Beliefs and Practices of the Catholic Church, receive the Sacraments of Initiation if need be (Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation).
Good luck.

1. Contact a priest, either by phone or going into a Catholic Church.
2. Attend Catechism.
3. After you have finished the Catechism classes, you can be Baptized and Confirmed as a Catholic.
This process takes several months, it is to make sure you really understand the Catholic faith. I will start praying for you and hope God opens your eyes to His Whole Word. You will understand this after taking Catechism. It is a big step so please do not take it lightly. May all of His Angels, Saints and the Most Precious Virgin Mary pray for you.

are you converting because you want to join the catholic church? or are you seeking religion because you have experienced something that causes you to believe that GOD might be real, and now there are things you need to know? if the answer is the first question...you go talk to a priest at the nearest catholic church. if the answer is the second question...you are best to stay as far from the catholic religion as you can get...and every other organized religion as well. GOD calls the catholic church a whore and a mother of harlots which means that all of these churches that supposedly broke away from the catholic church yet retain certain catholic ways...they too are harlots...a whore or harlots is an adulturess woman...these churches no longer (if they ever truly did) worship the real GOD but their own image of HIM, teaching that image to their congregations.
.
if you are truly seeking the real, true and living GOD, get a KJV bible and not a NKJV, and begin reading in genesis and read all the way to the end and then start over, every day before you begin reading, ask GOD to teach you HIS truths and to keep you from self wisdom. you actually have a good start as you have not been brainwashed by any church...dont join one now and ruin that. let GOD be the teacher as HE is the best qualified to teach HIS own mysteries. please feel free to email me if you have any questions...and may GOD direct your path.

Go see a priest. They have classes for conversion. There is a formalized process.
But I advise you to think long and hard about what you really believe before you do this! And what the Catholic church believes. Not just the touchy feely stuff they will tell you about. Make them address the hard topics with you. Birth control. Abortion. War. Genocide, etc, etc, etc.

contact your local church about their RCIA group. this will educate you about many different verses in the Bible and teach you how your religious beliefs apply to the modern world. technically classes start in august and go through june, but you can join at any time (i joined in march- too late to be baptized this easter but i will have a deeper understanding of the faith and will be baptized next year). you will be baptized, confirmed, and receive your first communion at the easter vigil, the day before easter. good luck!

I would suggest you getting to know Jesus since he is the head of the church and after that you can choose a denomination that appeals to you. I'm not saying that being a Catholic is bad, just look into Christianity, the life of Christ and after you have Him in your heart the Holy Spirit will direct you to the right place.
