Don't you know anything? Is something good happens, it's 100% God's doing. If something bad happens, God had nothing to do with it. I want his job...think it's posted on Monster.com yet?

"From the city the dying groan, and the throat of the wounded cries for help; yet God pays no attention to their prayer." - Job 24:12

God is actually Satan. This is clear when one compares the Bible's two versions of David's ill-fated census story. The II Samuel version begins, "...the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, an He incited David...", while the I Chronicles version begins, "Satan rose up against Israel, and incited David..."

God is a loving God and he has not refused to interact in human events. God came among us, the Word Incarnate, in the person of Jesus Christ and He took the sins, all the sins of the world upon Himself and was crucified and resurrected on the third day to offer us salvation and redemption. He never took away our free will and so man can still choose to do evil and sin, and sin is never an event that touches only the sinner, it touches many other lives as well. What may seem a senseless event to us, in God's eyes, much good can come from a single incident of sin or evil. Do we know how many of the lives lost in the VA Tech tragedy are now souls with God in heaven, how many more Saints there are today because of it? Can you see the love and goodness of the survivors and so many others in our country and the world in fact, that are reaching out in love and hope and consoling and lifting others in prayer today, who have been touched by this tragedy? God did not commit this tragedy but He can bring about much good in spite of what one individual choose to do. Have faith and know God is in charge and He has defeated sin and death and life and goodness will prevail.

Who said GOD didn't interfere with human situations? You can't see him, that doesn't mean he's not gonna do anything when bad stuff happens. GOD doesn't work when we want Him to or when we feel like He should work because He already knew it was gonna happen and He has his own plan for how to deal with it. Maybe we don't always have the satisfaction of having it dealt with the way we want it to be dealt with but it gets DEALT WITH! Stop asking why for all the bad and start asking why for the good that GOD does. Just understand that you don't always know what way is the best way but GOD does.

God is grieved when people commit heinous acts like the Virginia Tech shootings. When people ask questions like your question they seem to think that God should be the supernatural policeman of the world intervening in people's affairs and not letting anything bad happen here on earth.

But if He were to do that then every sinful action would have to be stopped. God doesn't have a sliding scale when it comes to sin. He says that the wages of sin are death but the gift of life is in Christ Jesus.

How would you like it if every time a person told a lie they were struck dead? Every time someone stole something they were killed. Every time someone blasphemed God's name a bolt of lightning struck them dead?

God says that vengeance is his and He will repay. If a person doesn't pay in this life they will most certainly pay in eternity. But God is patient and long suffering, not wanting any to perish but all to repent and turn to Him for salvation. When Jesus was asked about such things happening in his day here's what He had to say.

Luke 13:1 There were some present at that very time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

2 And he answered them, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? 3 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? 5 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

Since the time that Jesus came and died for us, God has not really been involved in our affairs. He cared enough for us to give His only begotten Son to die for our sins, that should be enough. He does not want any one to suffer, but the only way to prevent that is to live a life that will ensure our involvement in the next life with Him. Earth is just a proving ground for His future children. If we can make it through this, it will have seemed as nothing to us. How can a life of only sixty-seventy or more years on this earth, even if we are suffering the entire time, compare to an eternity of bliss and happiness with Him!

NOTHING!

After all if he did something then he could exactly say he refuses to interact with human events!

WHY???

HE'D BE INTERACTING WITH HUMAN EVENTS!

You answered your own question!

No prayer will do any good!
That God can't do anything without interacting with human events! THINK ABOUT IT!

He's one for you to consider this God being all knowing would've known for thousands of years that those people would die on that day! He knew it because it was part of his plan! Everything is part of this God's plan!
It has to be otherwise God is not all powerful!

God, Creator, whatever the only God of us all may be called---gave us all free will, intelligence, everything we'd ever need for a nice life. God doesn't do mean or terrible things to people---People do. If you attempt,24-7, to do what is right, honest and the best you can---in other words---act responsibly---you'll be fine--so will those with whom you come in contact---BUT---not everyone thinks or acts that way---and for what ever reasons, may hurt you--yours, when you sure didn't deserve it. Not fair, not right---and I bet God crys at the mess folks make of their, others, lives.

God had nothing to do with the killings, but He is there comforting the victims and their loved ones. Evil is the reason for the VT killings.

God's not involved in our daily lives to that degree. Unfortunately, humans are to blame and hurt each other with free will. There is so many variables, also, that we can't comprehend....like someone's rearing (abused?), mental health, etc.....these things are hard to understand.

Peace, Love, and Blessings
