To me religion is becoming a fad. Inspite new information that questions the authenticity of all religious branches, people still have a desire to worship. Is this a growing fad amongst society?

If it is a "fad", then it's a fad that's been in my family for many, many generations. I was raised in a staunchly religious home by a family that has practiced the same religion for centuries. It's not exactly something I aimlessly wandered into after seeing a TV program one night.

Lol! I told my parish priest that I got born-again and he told me that I was just going through a fad! Here it is over 25 years later and I'm still having a great time walking with Jesus! Fads only last a season or two, right? Well this fad is no fad, because its changed my life and is still going strong! I no longer go to that church either.

Obama has in no way arise with an unique concept so a procedures, so how can all people sing his compliment the way they do. nonetheless, the left has a tendency to fall for any new fad, so why no longer ? isn't that why they are on the Left besides, they are surely swayed. sort of like chasing fireflies at nightfall, exciting to play at yet no longer too in charge. Ask each lib you meet, "how are you going to pay for that"? and that they'll constantly arise with develop the taxes on the evil wealthy human beings. I in ordinary terms choose they'd get some enthusiasm with regard to the honest tax and the libertarians! while Obama gets an concept, call me!

I understand were you are coming from. There’s Madonna and whats Demi Moore’s young husbands name, well you know who I’m talking about, but they run around with the Kabala (which is Jewish teaching) bracelets and what not. Religion itself can be complicated and some can seem unattached from God.

But believing in God and being religious are two totally different things. Religion is the way you choose to serve God. Example: 7 day Adventist go to Church on Saturday, Jehovah Witnesses don’t celebrate holidays. Both religions are Christian based, but have different living systems. Both believe in God.

Find a Religion that works and feels right with your relationship with God.

God Bless!!!

I am curious if you can even think of anything you would not consider a "fad".

If you think God is a fad, what is lasting in your eyes?

Hopefully it is a declining fad. It is definitely on its last legs.

The modern world scares people. They turn to religion as their security blanket. It is not for nothing that the bible repeatedly compares god's devout worshipers to sheep.
