They seem to be determined to replace the Constitution with the Ten Commandments.

They hate the concept of Democracy and prefer to let their 'God' select the next President.

They hate science and embrace silly fairy tales, which is why we have to import out scientists from Europe and Asia.

For some reason they embrace Capitalism, even though it is the antithesis of New Testament teachings. They seem to toss out the New and go with the Old whenever they feel like it, especially if it involves Solomon and his gold mines, but not his concubines. And shrimp is tasty but gays are evil, even thought the Old Testament calls both of them an abomination.

In a system based on Democracy, Capitalism and individual rights, completely non-Christian concepts, isn't Christianity a direct contradiction, or are they just such whores for money and comfort that they will pick and choose when they follow the Old or the New or when they just go with the flow and think this is neat so God must approve?

Did it change it's mind at some point? Decide on an expansion project? Was it gradual or overnight? One second only Jews can have the pleasure of Its grace, and the next everyone on the face of the planet is forced to worship It or burn in hell. Seems strange to me.

Christianity is for those trying to stay out of Hell. And spirituality is for those who have already lived in it. Please serious responces only. Have a great day.

If you think about it, there have been billions of people who have died. Since most of them weren't exactly the right kind of Christian, almost every single one of them must be in hell, burning in eternal flame. You would think that If there were billions of atheists and Jews burning under my feet, I would sooner or later begin to smell it, right? Millions and billions of tons of charred flesh barbequing in the center of the earth would probably smell...delicious. What makes this even more absurd is that I don't believe what I just wrote. I just want to see who actually reads all the information provided here. I think most people just read the question in the title and give an impulsive and thoughtless answer. If you've read this far, prove it to me and answer with just the word "riboflavin." Technically you could say I'm trolling, but I prefer to think of it as an unscientific study. Consider me sort of a troll doing a poll; a trollster?

Lays reptilian eggs
Bill of a duck but SOFT AND SENSETIVE enough to feel a worm under water on the river bed with its eyes closed.
Poisonous barbs on its feet in the mating season only.
Feeds young with no nipples just milk running down its fur which is lapped up by young.
Fur like a mammal but waterproof.
Pockets in its jaw to store food.
Reptilian like shoulder girdle.
Intricate nervous system and a large cerebral vortex which suggests high intelegence.
ALMOST impossible to rear in captivity.

These are just some of it's contradictory features. How do we correlate this with evolution theory?

"What assumptions do we need to make to prove these statements? It's a given that the proof depends on the fundamental assumption that logic and the process of deduction is a reliable way of determining truth. But when we attempt to prove the existence of God this way we end up with a troubling paradox. If God created everything then He also created logic and deduction. So how can we reliably use logic and deduction to prove the existence of God? It's absurd to even attempt it."
"Therefore, we discover that we can't prove the existence of God with logic and deduction. But in the process of discovering this we've illustrated an important truth. The Atheist isn't really an empiricist after all as he prefers to believe.Instead, he's adopted a belief system that's as arbitrary and unprovable as belief in God.By denying the existence of God the Atheist has really sabotaged his belief in empiricism. In doing this he has inadvertently illustrated that there really is a God after all.Since the

"Church offers aid to accused molester"
By Robert Annis
robert.annis@indystar.com
CARMEL, Ind. -- A Carmel church wants its members to show love and forgiveness to a former elder accused of molesting a 3-year-old girl, causing the child's family and others to leave the congregation.
The girl's father said the family no longer feels welcome because of the support shown for the accused man.
"It's a disgrace that the church would embrace a criminal and turn its back on the victim, especially one that's a young child," he father said.

I find it puzzling that most religious people I have talked to have not actually read the bible for themselves. They tend to go to church and listen to a priest or reverand preach a particular passage. Why is that?
