They seem to be determined to replace the Constitution with the Ten Commandments.

They hate the concept of Democracy and prefer to let their 'God' select the next President.

They hate science and embrace silly fairy tales, which is why we have to import out scientists from Europe and Asia.

For some reason they embrace Capitalism, even though it is the antithesis of New Testament teachings. They seem to toss out the New and go with the Old whenever they feel like it, especially if it involves Solomon and his gold mines, but not his concubines. And shrimp is tasty but gays are evil, even thought the Old Testament calls both of them an abomination.

In a system based on Democracy, Capitalism and individual rights, completely non-Christian concepts, isn't Christianity a direct contradiction, or are they just such whores for money and comfort that they will pick and choose when they follow the Old or the New or when they just go with the flow and think this is neat so God must approve?

I'm a fundamental Baptist and I would like to respond to your question.
1) The rule is to use the new testament (the old testament is only used when quoted in the new testament)
2) How would I know who God wants as the president?!?! I just vote for the person who shares my beliefs the most just like everybody else does. If you believe in gay marriage you wouldn't vote for someone who doesn't.
3) How are democracy, capitalism, or individual rights unchristian? As for capitalism, I do believe in making money but only enough to sustain yourself.
4) I don't want to replace the Constitution with the Ten Commandments because not everybody believes what I believe and its not my place to try to change that.
5) I'm not even going to comment on the fact that you felt the need to refer to my beliefs as fairy tales because honestly, that was just rude.
Even though I'm a girl I do know how to defend myself and my beliefs. Being submissive does not mean I get walked on.
