Absolute i do feel that the talks are for me. Out of all the speakers there is something that i can do and improve from them. For an example yesterday there was a talk from Brother Jensen. He talked about Hymns and stated to sing them more often. Or yesterday morning Richard G. Scott talked about prayer. This morning President Faust talked on Forgiveness even in the toughest things that we go though. Yes i do love conference it is great.

Me too. This conference I really enjoyed the Saturday Morning session.
I forget who it was, but last Conference someone gave a talk in which they mentioned that Visiting Teaching is not about the numbers, but about the love and friendship that can happen. I'm the VT Coordinator for my ward and feel that sometimes people think that I'm only concerned about the numbers. I'm not, but when they only hear from me when their supervisor can't get in touch with them to get their numbers, I can see where they might think that way. Anyway, that talk said exactly what I feel. ...I think it was Elder Ballard.
I love Elder Holland's talks too. It seems like whoever is after him, I feel the spirit so much stronger than I normally do. I think it's that with Elder Holland, he sort of primes the audience with the spirit then whoever comes after him has an audience that is already filled with the spirit. Remember how strong the spirit was last October when he spoke, then President Hinckley spoke, then the Choir sang. WOW! Even the choir and some of the Apostles were choked up.

Definitely. Elder Holland's and Elder Bednar's were really good, as was Elder Worthlin's from the Priesthood Session.

I really enjoyed conference today, I had several talks that I liked, especially Elder Scoot when he talked on prayer.
As a added bonus to General Conference I ran into Alberson's to pick up bread and met Pres. Monsen there!!! How exciting!!! It was wonderful to shake the hand of an apostle, especially after hearing him speak.

Most definitely, or for my kids.
Today, my husband and I were listing all the talks we want to use for the basis of some upcoming FHE's. Yea, we're not going to need any ideas for a while. It seemed like everyone of the talks applied to our family directly. LOL
Now, the question is, do I feel like they apply to us directly because we're falling behind, or is it because we're paying attention and doing well and so open to the Spirit's message. I'm going to go with the 2nd. ;)
I just love conference. I can't wait until the hubby gets back from the priesthood session and can tell me about it!

Sunday's sessions were really good. The morning one was the best for me!!! I love Pres. Hinckley's talk. It really reaffirmed what I think about our church and the gospel. It was great to hear them say things that I already think to be true, just helps me to know that I'm not alone. I like elder Uchdorf's talk in the second session (I love to say his name too!!! It's pretty catchy!!!). It was really good. Just so you know, you can go to lds.org and either read or listen to all the talks on conference whenever you want!! I was going to check today and see if they have them available now.

I had a great experience as I got to go to the local chapel for the first session on Saturday all alone. No kids! It was the first time I really felt like I was getting everything, and not just bits and pieces. I kind of boo-hooed through most of it. I had never sustained all of the authorities in that kind of setting and it made my faith in them even stronger. Also, there were only 7 of us in the chapel, so it was so peaceful. Wonderful day.

Oh.....I feel as if every talk was directed especially to me. This year so far the one that's hit home the most is Jeffer R. Holland's on Prayer. I've heard this quote before it said that 2,000,000 people will listen to confrence and there will be 2,000,000 different messeges given that day. Being the only member in my house makes it hard to watch it, but it's so worth it.

yes I do. Especially a lot of priesthood meeting. There was one topic that has been on my mind a lot lately. Because it was really specific to me and my situation, I thought that the general topic would be touched, but not my actual situation. Of course it was subtly brought up, and totally answered one of prayers from last night.

I do indeed, all of the time. If I listen carefully, I will feel the Spirit whisper to me the various ways I can improve, grow, and become a better person.
