The Bible call them backsliders. It would be better for you if you didn't know Jesus than to know Him and turn against Him. Because your punishment will be greater if you once knew and now turn away from Him.

It's a Christian who was born again (the whole indwelling of the Holy Spirit sensation, usually involving a blast from above or a vision of some sort, with a major change in the way one lives one's life) but then either converted to another religion or reverted to atheism, and so is no longer a Christian nor born-again.

I was once born again. Now I no longer believe in Christianity or Religion.
So I guess that makes me an aborted Christian

There is no such thing.
No one can be saved and then lost again.
Once the Holy Spirit has taken up residence, that person has been saved eternally. However, there are cases, where people have given lip service to an altar call, and there has been no change or real committment made. This person was never saved in the first place. Real repentance needs to take place in order for someone to be saved.

I am one. I was saved back in the '70's and it was wonderful. My life was blessed. I got a husband, a baby late in my years - but then the cares of the world became choking. I was left with a child, no job, no transportation. I just got too busy trying to stay alive in the world with my young one. It's not that I turned away per se - it's just that I didn't turn toward Him. Instead of running to Him for the help I tried to rely on my own abilities. I didn't do terrible but it could have been sooo blessed, my life with this beautiful child, had I just turned to HIm.
Well, better late than never. I never "Lost" my salvation, I just wasn't living in the blessings of it. Now I am. Praise God! for being so loving and patient. Where I didnt' believe He could/would help me with my messed up life - He never gave up on me!!!!
