Maybe you feel there is no answer to your question, but I have very good news for you today!

Humans were created by God, to live in a deep and close friendship with Him - a relationship of love. We were also made to be dependent on God, with God as the loving ruler, and humans as obedient subjects under His rule.

The God that Jesus revealed is not like a dictator ruling the down-trodden masses, but is a loving and good Father caring for His children.

Only when we live in that relationship of love and dependence on God, can we know what it is to be truly free and live life to the maximum.

Don't fight the truth anymore - take one small step of faith and believe the Gospel. - You will never regret it my friends!

For I know the plans I have for you says God,
Plans for good and not for evil
Plans to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29 v 11

Idly curious as I just ran across it, but these examples aren't meant to be all-inclusive.

Someone posts a question about Islam. There will be 5 posts up there by certain Christian posters saying to read the Bible and accept Jesus.

Conversely, someone else asks a question about Biblical stuff, and there will be posts in there about this and that Sura and hadith.

A third person asks a question about religion as a whole or innocuous and frankly interesting stuff like good verses for a kid's baptism, and here come the comments of, 'Well, I have a brain, so I don't need religion, so why bother asking? Atheism is the way to go.'

I haven't run into this from Hindu, Buddhist, or Jewish posters, but if there are examples, feel free to list them. I'm just curious why people don't learn to pick their battles. What makes folks do that? If you're commenting and are not the religion of the thread poster, don't do anything in their thread that you would be annoyed if they did in yours.

Why does God, if indeed he exists, send you to hell for all eternity if you don't believe in him? Would it not be sort of petty and hating (e.x. if you don't like me then I'll grab your hand and put it on a stove)?

if jesus christ came back today would the conservatives spit on him and crucify him all over? the reason i ask this is i notice just how much enjoyment you guys get out of calling someone a liberal as if it were the equivalent of a very nasty dirty four letter word. anyone that has studied blibical history knows fully well that jesus was very loving and all inclusive and very forgiving, therefore if he were classified by todays deffinition he would no doubt be 'A LIBERAL". so i just wonder would you guys treat him with so much disdain as you do all other liberal minded people. think about it because judgement day is coming soon and being a liberal may just be the faster ticket to heaven? think about it!!

Jam 3:13 Who [is] a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
Jam 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
Jam 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, devilish.
Jam 3:16 For where envying and strife [is], there [is] confusion and every evil work.
Jam 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Jam 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Just wondering... I realized that I can't think of a single way of how telling a Christian that they're theory of Intelligent Design is flawed benefits me...

I am not trying to be controversial or offensive to any people or faith but this does appear to be a bit wrong considering what the 10 commandents say. Also if we all decend from Adam & Eve does that mean we are all the realtives of incest? Please answer seriously.

And claim to be learning about that religion.

So why do people always see what is wrong in that religion, what the followers of the religion did despite their actions totally contradict with what their religion teach. Pay attention and notice that in context, no religion advocates evil.

Why don't anyone say about the good things they found in the religion they're studying instead?
