Someone once told me. Muslims are very evil. Living in Texas. You are going to hear this alot. Mostly cause... most of this countrie is very uneducated. But do the muslims seem like evil ppl.

The "Five Pillars" of Islam:

1- Profession of Faith, Shahadah, "There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet".
2- "Prayer": "Five times a day"... "Fridays"... The "Salat":
3- "Give alms", "Zakat"
4- "Fasting", "Sawm", on the month of "Ramadan"
5- "Pilgrimage to Mecca"
alms are given as charity to benefit the poor

Afterall, in addition to being partof my religion, babies without fingernails suffer fewer instances of scratched corneas, have less bacteria on their hands, and don't get ingrone nail infections.

all religious people suffer from this condition that i call 'god in my pocket'
now if i scratch god/allah's backside he will scratch mine is what religious people say.
and i ask, why should any god need human beings to defend him?
the muslim god even says that anyone who ridicules him should be killed
why do these god's/allah's need human help if they are so powerful?

I go to a Catholic church in a small town. About three years ago, we had a new Priest, he was 34, and pretty funny. He'd tell jokes during sermons, and was just generaly awesome. The thing is, a lot of the older members were offended by him. He wound up leaving last November because of it. I was pretty annoyed with my Church.

So, that lead me to this; Why can't some Catholics laugh at themselves? Where in the Bible does it say "Thou shalt not laugh at thyselves?". Is it so bad to joke around sometimes?

"This is a first for me", I wanted to add a little humor to this site.. :)

One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of the rascally behavior that was going on. So he called one of His angels and sent the angel to Earth to check it out.

When he returned, he told God, "Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95 % are misbehaving and only 5 % are not."

God was not pleased. So He decided to e-mail the 5 % who were being good, because He wanted to encourage them....give them a little something to help them keep going.

It has been reported that about 2 million German women,and girls were raped,Gang raped ,killed or confined ,or used as sex slaves When Berlin was captured by the mostly orthodox christian soviet red army soldiers ,During the more recent past,atleast 200000 Bosnian women and girls some as old as 6 were raped by serbian christian soldiers,most were killed after the rapes.The recent cases of catholic priests sexually molesting underaged boys has been in spotlight,So i just wonder if these religions condone such a behaviour,if not then why are these acts commited or done by these people on such a large scale throughout history?I will be highly obliged if i get a decent and satisfactory answer.Thank you

I've often heard that the tree Adam & Eve supposedly ate fruit from was the tree of knowledge.

Why would God want knowledge to be forbidden?

Isn't this just a story to discourage people from seeking the truth so that the powers that be of the time it was written could maintain control of the masses?
