I have found Buddhism about a year ago. After years of struggling with my former religion, I have found Buddhism to address the questions that I have such as why we are forced to exist beyond our will. This is the main reason I converted to Buddhism. I have studied Buddhism for about a year but the path I have taken long before was on the business side of life. It was partially due to my own greed and partially due to rebelling against my former religion. I want to make things right but I am afraid it might be too late because of my karma. What must I do?

The cartoon demonstrations were ridiculous, that is well known. Mainly because it was a group of muslims, of which I am one, going to extremes over what a non muslim did. What my personal take on it, is that they had no right to because they are not muslim. had the cartoonist been a muslim, that would be a completely different story. Anyway, check out the link. It's muslims telling the ones who rioted off, basically.

If you believe there is no God and this is all there is,
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by at least trying faith. It is known fact that Jesus Christ lived and was executed by the Romans. History proves this, just look it up. Don't go at it blindly. YOU DONT HAVE TO CHANGE WHO YOU ARE. God loves you as you are. He does not want you to live life unfulfilled. There is more, much more, and if you will just try faith--you will find it. Email me. Just try it, what have you got to lose???? Whenever I made a joke or whatever, regarding religious jokes, puns or simply word plays, people gave me lenghty answers and explaination, as if I care. I mean come on, it was a joke, who puts logic into jokes?

For example, my friends joke about Jesus:

There was this woman who was about to be stoned to death, then Jesus came and said "let he without sin stone her first", then a stone dropped from the sky and hit that woman on the head. "Aaw come on Dad, I was trying to make a point." Jesus said.



And BAM, suddenly verses and verses of the bible and it's intrepretation were given.

Same goes when you try an atheist joke.

Why do people think I'm joking when I'm not and take me seriously when I'm joking?

What is the benefit in denying Jesus Christ lived when you can find proof so easily. Why not take a chance that there is something more, you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Faith changes things or I would not try desperately to tell you. Why strain at a nat and swallow a camel. Fighting belief in God and believing in random luck creating the universe.

If not, here are some of the stupid things in both the universe and on our own planet that seem to prove that the universe was not made for us:

Universe:
Most planet orbits are unstable
Less the 3% of a gas cloud actually makes a star.
Most places kill life instantly - heat - - radiation- cold.
Galaxy orbits brings you near a supernova.
Our system will eventually collide with Andromeda system.
The universie is slowing winding down until eventually it would be to cold to sustain life (things are getting further apart)

Earth:

Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Tsunamis, Floods, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Lightning Strikes, kills hundereds of thousands of people every year and level cities.
We can't live on 2/3 of its surface.
Freeze or stave on half of what remains.
Mass extinctions from disease, climate shift and kkiller asteroids.
90% of all life that ever lived is now extinct.
3.5-billion years to make multi-cellular life.

It does not make sense, man without God is empty. Each person living and dying without any continuance. No purpose, no direction. Just living and dying. A little advance in technology but with no fixed aim. No end in evolution until destruction of course when it would be entirely over. No spirit to continue. If there is no God---spirituality is pointless. Do you understand where I am coming from?

God supposedly went to different nations before coming to the Jews and asked them if they want His bible. They all answered no. Doesn't this seem weird? The only rational way to explain this is that they had other Gods which they believed to be superior. But then, that God must have showed them that he exists for them to believe in him. After all, a supreme being comes and asks them to believe in His bible and they reject it. They must have had something better. Maybe other Gods exist?
