We are trapped in the endless cycle of samsara, a symbol of the endless state of the universe in flux. The Confucian philosophical principle of creation vs. destruction reflects this. It is natural impulse for us to attach ourselves to the universe. The universe is but a construction, a reflection of the mind and human nature. We get lost in this and surrender to false belief in the atman.
One must know what one is denying in order to deny it, creating the basis of anatta and anatman. Refer to the Buddhist encyclopedia online. Try http://www.BIGpedia.com as well for a general outline of principle. In order to escape samsara, one must understand Buddha's life and the Great Awakening. He understood the principles of the Noble Eightfold Path. The Tripitaka outlines His life along with the oral tradition. One must accept the Four Noble Truths. The Way leads to nirvana.

What's the factor of asking this query? ~~KNOWLEDGE!!~~ You are living to attain skills (lasting, common) of the purpose you are right here. That purpose, that factor, that introduced you right here has to have continuously existed. (Thus the legislation of non contradiction(You are not able to have some thing from not anything)). You are not able to have some thing and non-some thing within the equal location even as. Think you'll? Picture a squared-ciricle. An object that has the homes of each a circular circle and four facets like a rectangular. Why are not able to you? Your creativeness is so strong, why are not able to you do it? =P Unless you suppose all of us got here from not anything, and whilst you are lifeless, you are lifeless (your frame simply rots). Then why even ask what is the factor of residing? You already concluded. =P

We were put on this earth for one thing and one thing only. To glorify Gods name. To tell others about him and what he has done for us. Everything we do should be for him. Whats the point of doing something for ourselves. We don’t live that long. And after 120 years nobody will even remember you or what you did in life. Only God will know and he sees all our selfish acts and all our non selfish acts. Sure you work hard all your life to get a nice house have some kids, grand-kids. Then you die. And someone else is living in your house and someone else is doing your job. But if you bring people to Jesus that's something that will never go away. You will meet people in heaven that will say, i am here because of you. If it wasn’t for you i would be dead forever. I am so glad you took the time out of your busy life to help me.
He allows you to fall, to make bad choices, because He loves you. It's important to Him that you choose goodness because you love it, instead of because He forces you to. You'd be no different than a rock or a tree, if you had no choice about what you do. He wants your willing love, not your forced obedience, and in order to get that He has to give you the option NOT force it.

Death is the given. We are going to die. In choosing to live we allow ourselves the opportunity to truly live. To, as it were, suck the marrow out of life.
For the child: Death is empty without life. No matter your religion. No religion supports an unmeaningful death along with an unmeaningful life. In life we get to learn, love, have fun, hurt, even, and grow. Even the most ugly and painful parts of life help us to love, even more, the wonderful parts of it.
Even playing tag can be a wonderful and exhilarating experience. Dying is just, and will only ever be, dying.

Because your soul is immortal. The time we live here on earth is just a drop in the bucket, compared to eternity. What matters is where we go after death.

It will not always be this way.
(REVELATION 21:4) “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.””
No death means we then will live forever...And NOT in heaven.
(PSALM 37:11) “But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”
(PSALM 37:29) “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.”
FOREVER...

There's gotta be more to life...
Than chasing down every temporary high to satisfy me
Cause the more that I'm...
Tripping out thinking there must be more to life
Well it's life, but I'm sure... there's gotta be more
Than wanting more

To improve things if, when, and where you can....Be the best you can be. Be all you can be. To give is better than to get. Love and be loved. Honor God. This life is temporary so make the best of it as you can. The life to come is the one that really counts and it will last forever. Where it is spent depends on how one conducts his/her-self in this life.

there is no point but that hardly matters does it. committing suicide usually requires a severe brain abnormality or physical condition. our survival instinct has been honed over many years.
most people have no choice but to push on without meaning.
the sands of time will wash away any meaning we associate with anything anyway.
