The cartoon demonstrations were ridiculous, that is well known. Mainly because it was a group of muslims, of which I am one, going to extremes over what a non muslim did. What my personal take on it, is that they had no right to because they are not muslim. had the cartoonist been a muslim, that would be a completely different story. Anyway, check out the link. It's muslims telling the ones who rioted off, basically.

Dear Muslim brothers and sisters,

I am not sure if my voice will be heard, but I decided to write this brief article because emotions are becoming a bit too ridiculous regarding the ridiculous cartoons against the Prophet of Islam, peace be upon him. Muslims need to understand the following:

1- The journalist or journalists responsible for the cartoons do not represent any government. They certainly do represent the news paper that they write for, but they do not represent the gover

Very True Proud Girl. I also see the cartoons as a freedom of expression expressed by the cartoonist. Muhammad PBUH experienced more mockery and haterd during his life and didn't ban it. He smiled in love and peace.. God gave us the chance when the cartoons were made to show the world who are we.. to forgive and make more people interested in our religion. Instead, Most Muslim countries were furious, demonstrations, requests to kill, cries.. That reminds me of Europe.. 4 centuries ago...

I don't hate any country for an act by one of its citizens, and I don't hate people for the acts of their government.. Bush might be a war criminal.. but the American people are one of the most generous and awsome people on earth.

I believe God described this situation exactly.. as he stated: "Whosoever goeth right, it is only for (the good of) his own soul that he goeth right, and whosoever erreth, erreth only to its hurt. No laden soul can bear another's load " (Al Isra sura15 Verse17)

Besides, the cartoonist knows nothing about Islam, he's just trying to be funny.. I don't blame anyone who Don't know, God Goes on in the same verse: "We never punish until we have sent a messenger"..

I believe that all Muslims now are messengers of God, spreading his word all over the world, with peace and love, but we Miscarried the load.. and It's a very heavy load as you are aware.. Before we blame the others, we need to blame ourselves first.

We are basically disappointed by the impotent response of the related Govt's that they cannot take any action against such ridiculous journalists.
I observe still all Muslims boycott of purchasing any products of Denmark. It is a protest, If Govt. of Denmark cannot take any action against the journalists and so we cannot stop ourselves to boycott their products.
What do you think the criminals has rights but the effected ones have no rights?
If in the life of Muhammad PBUH, born lot of criticism and forgave, so only He is the one to forgive but our feelings are hurt so now this is us who forgive or not.
Like if someone abuse my father, may be my father will forgive but It is up to me weather I forgive or not, the pain I will bear about my feelings for my father.
I hope you understand.

There is a saying, curiosity kills the cat. Well these people they got to see all their god's faces. Jesus(pbuh) photo is hanging at every christians houses, Buddha Idols is on the aisles on every Buddhist house and so on so forth but they are curious how Muhammad(pbuh) and Allah(saw) look like so they draw and satisfied themselves!
So the moral of the story is these people are just not satisfied on anything and everything and by drawing these pictures they are trying to prove themselves right...and satisifed their own lust. Look for instances the tomb of Jesus(pbuh), it spring out from some where and make a big fuss out of nothing! And angered the christians in the end it is a hoax! duh....
So get it everyone!

God says all prophets are equal....not to regard one as better than the others...that's akin to idol worship. Now when some Muslims go crazy over cartoons or some other negative thing concerning our prophet Mohammed but remain silent when other prophets pictures are used or something negative is said about them....then they are turning Mohammed into some sort of idol, putting him above all other prophets. That's wrong according to God. If your going to protest one prophet's negative depiction(as you believe it) then protest them all. In a positive way though, not destructive.

How exactly does showing cartoons about the prophet affect you personally other than possibly making you angry? Why do you believe burning cars, rioting etc(and sometimes killing the offender) is anything close to how God says treat others...even your enemies? our prophet forgave his enemies that were trying to have him murdered...and now Muslims riot over something as insignificant as cartoons. What would our prophet say about that? very sad.
