Yes. As a Christian,I think it is definately important to understand other religions and where folks of different beliefs are comming from. Only once we understand their reasoning can we communicate with them on a spiritual level. For example, a Hindu might be very confused by the concept of the Holy Trinity being three and yet one.A Christian attempting to explain that to him/her would first have to understand the Hindu concept of polytheism(many gods) before they could introduce the Hindu to the Christian concept of monotheism(one god only). We have much to learn from one another.

I would say go...
My reason was simple, we should understand other religions so we can know deeply about them just not hurled a critism to them if something goes wrong...(like terrorism that usually related to Islam)
It is not our right to argue or debate their point of view..Respect other religion and treat them nicely..As long as i have a strong confidence in my notion so it will be okay for me to building a bridge with other believer..

that would be awesome...though it would be cool if you could ask for further clarifications and whatnot, as well as the approach that the religion has on particular issues...
argument and debate would definitely be counter-productive though...but questions asked with a gnuine intent to learn would be acceptable I'd hope.

It would be far more captivating than a lot of the stuff I learned in social studies classes...and probably more relevant to my interactions on a social level anyway.

I did. We had such classes in my high school and they were very interesting. I just wish there had been time to cover more religions.

Just listening? That sounds kinda boring, if I'm not allowed to infer and conclude.
