God in the bible can sound quite strick and harsh, he even questions some suposeidly Christians. I don't know if i'm worthy or strong enough of a Christian. What should I do?

We all have our own views, and what not about how heaven is. To each and everyone of you, How do you see heaven to be for you??? It's not a question on what you heard about it. Your own opinion.

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

Each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord what you're doing to me
I have spent all my years in believing You,
But I just can't get no relief,
Lord!
Somebody, somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

I work hard every day of my life
I work till I ache my bones
At the end I take home my hard earned pay all on my own -
I get down on my knees
And I start to pray
Till the tears run down from my eyes
Lord - somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me - somebody to love?

Everyday - I try and I try and I try -
But everybody wants to put me down
They say I'm goin' crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
Got no common sense
I got nobody left to believe

Oh Lord
Somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

at first Noah was instructed to take two of each species of animal into the Arch, several verses later he is instructed to take seven of the clean species and two of the dirty species. For a book inspired by God it sure is funny how he changes his mind.
Why would he change his mind if he knows everything before it happens ?

In Judges 14:14, Samson bets his bride's relatives they can't answer this riddle: "Out of the eater came something to eat. Out of the strong came something sweet." The relations are stumped, mainly because the riddle makes no sense unless you know Samson recently had seen honey deposited by bees in the carcass of a lion, which he had--urk--scraped out and eaten. The relatives pester the bride for the answer, and she pesters Samson, who finally breaks down and tells her. The newly-clued relatives say to Samson, "What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?" "If you had not plowed with my heifer," Samson ungallantly ripostes, "you would not have found out my riddle," whereupon he massacres 30 unlucky locals to raise enough swag to pay off the bet. Hilarious, eh?

If God gives you a set of rules, you are going to follow them because you will get rewarded for it, not because you truly believe in it. This happens very often. People will not cheat on a test only because they fear the consequences of getting caught, not because they believe it is wrong to cheat. Again, I say in many cases, not ALL. So you see, this whole religion and free will is pointless...

God really is you know.

He sees all of your actions and knows all of your thoughts and intentions. Shouldn't we be more mindful of God watching us????

WIKIPEDIA: Miracles as supernatural acts
In this view, a miracle is a violation of normal laws of nature by a god or some other supernatural being. Some scientist-theologians like Polkinghorne suggest that miracles are not violations of the laws of nature but "exploration of a new regime of physical experience".

The birth of a baby or fresh rainfall would be considered miracles if we didn't understand them, or see a pattern to them. Is there something we are missing about the ministry of Jesus? Do atheists believe in miracles?

If we all believed in God, we would still have free will and could choose our own behavior, so the answer can't be "to preserve free will". We believe in air, the sun and a lot of other facts. That doesn't keep us from having free will, it just helps us make better choices. Wouldn't an automatic belief in God do the same? How do theologians handle this issue?

Here I am, arguing with my friend about the 300 movie.

She says it's an anti-Islamic western propaganda, I say she's just paranoid.

So now I would like to ask you all, mostly Americans and people of the west, do you really get the idea to hate Islam more just by watching 300?
