Christians aren't perfect. They are forgiven.
I doubt if you are a worse sinner than me or than Paul or Peter or any of the notable early Christians.

When I started having that problem, it was the beginning of the end for my Christianity. At times I was overwhelmed with a sense of guilt over how I had offended God, and was unworthy of Jesus's salvation.
I'm so much happier after having let all that go. Christians talk about the peace of mind their religion brings them; I didn't find peace of mind until I gave it up. It's fine if you remain Christian, and if you do, you should talk to other Christians about what you're feeling. It's also fine to not be a Christian anymore. It might feel like it would be the end of the world, but it's really not.

First of all consider God as your thickest and best friend. You can freely talk to Him about your woes and problems and you can converse with him all the day. Actually God is a loving mother, loving father, close kinsman, It is all in how you visualize him. He will react in the same manner. God is compassionate and loving. No harsh and no strict. He has given us full freedom to lead life. Use your own discrimination to live in such a way that God continues to love you.. nagarajan

NO ONE IS WORTHY! Face it, we aren't. People are humans. To err or to be human. We are all sinners. Daily sinners. But thank God (literally) that His is forgiving and patient!
God told us that He is a jealous God and has warned us many times in the Bible to fear His wrath. One sin and no repentance will get you to hell. 1000 sins and all are forgiven can get you in Heaven. But that's IF God forgives them all. He knows what's in our hearts and minds every second of every day. He is well aware of our intentions when we do & say things. He knows we make mistakes. But just merely believing that Jesus is God's Son doesn't get you to Heaven. Many Christian denominations believe this. Jesus and His Father tell us many times in the Bible that it's our faith, trust, and deeds that will save our souls.
I suggest you read about some saints' lives (I find them inspiring). I am reading about St. Theresa of Avilla. I just read about Padre Pio. These were truly obedient people.
God bless you in all that you do!

Well, King David was a murderer and adulterer but is described as "a man after God's own heart"
in both old and new testaments.
(I Samuel and Acts)
It clearly isn't about specific acts.
Unless you are at least worse than David, worthiness doesn't come into it.

I fail everyday.... but he knows my heart. I want to do better, I struggle with it and I talk to him all the time. I ask him to help me. If you confess Christ as your savior and that he is the Son of God then you will notice that you feel guilt when you do something that you know he wouldn't want you doing.... what makes you feel guilty? It,s the Holy Spirit... Feel Joy in that, take notice that the guilt you feel is evidence of God working in your life right now...I have struggled for years and it took a crisis in my life to really get me to let go of my anger at God and start the process of learning.... I am still a sinner... I still do stupid stuff and I will be learning the rest of my life, the trick is to never give up...I don't hear his voice, I don't have miracles happening everyday, my prayers are not all answered, very few in fact, but if you have faith.......faith in the face of no evidence, to have faith when you have no proof that he exists, then he sees that, and he won't let you go....I can say with faith that this is the truth.... contact me if you want...

He answers that question for you:
"If you love me, you will obey what I command. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching" (John 14:15, 24).
Do you love Him? Even if you love Him with all your heart it will not be as perfectly and infinitely as He loves you. That's why Christ came. That's what the Easter story is all about. God only has one standard: "GOOD." None of us measures up to that but if you'll accept His plan, Christ being good enough and loving enough for you, then you will be good enough and and strong enough. It's in Christ that you are saved and made righteous, not in your own strength. That's good news. That's the Gospel message.
"Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil." (John 3:18-19).

Who's been teaching you...? God is a loving "Father"...He wants us to come to Him like little children... and He will be our Father in eternity... You don't need to be powerful or strong... We all have rules... God has rules too and He understands that sometimes we struggle with them and break them... It's then "we" need to go to Him and ask for forgiveness... His Word say He will forgive us from all un righteousness... but we have to ask... He gave us 10 rules (Commandments)... they can be found in His Word (the Bible) in the Book of Exodus at Chapter 20.... but don't make yourself nuts with the rules at first... get a good modern translation of His Word...like the Good News Bible and read the Book of John first... or go to Blockbuster and rent the video, The Book of John... great video... it will help you to better understand who He is....

Your very best. Isn't that the same thing your parents and teachers always told you about other matters? Really get to know God. You will find him to be loving, forgiving and just. Psalms 103:13,14 says As a father shows mercy to his sons,Jehovah has shown mercy to those fearing him.
For he himself well knows the formation of us,
Remembering that we are dust. god takes into account our sinful nature and expects us simply to do our very best to serve him acceptably. this is what Jesus meant when he said "You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’" (Matthew 22:37-38)

In the Bible, Jesus said come as you are, which mean not matter what you're doing or what you did in the past, if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you will become a Christan. Jesus also said if you call on His name, by not means, He will never leave you.
