Prayer is a means of communication between you and God.
It is not psychic - but its powerful.
More things are wrought through prayer than this world dreams of.
When you ask does prayer work - yes it does, but God does not always answer in ways which we think is best.

YES!!!!!!! Do you know what kind of changes we, as a society could make if we were all like minded in prayer. If at one time we all pray for the same thing, and let me add this is where the problem lies, choosing what is most important.Think about it... would you first pray for the children dying of starvation or pray for the families that are homeless and selling their children to feed the rest, whether it's here in America or not. It's a tough decision. As for Psychic never.... what it is,is the ultimate power of one voice against the universe. If we all prayed, it would happen, there's no doubt.
If you would like to talk more about this subject I would be glad to break it down for you in an e-mailed conversation. Good question!!!!!!

Have you ever been to a concert? Or a political rally. Thousands of people 'vibeing' together does create a type of psychic power that is far over looked as something created from within the HUMAN body. Robert Fripp experimented w/ sound and meditation to try and reveil theese secrerts.

It says in the Bible that two pray together it becomes like a thousand, and ten pray together like ten thousand.... I don't have my Bible in front of me so the numbers may be off, but if so many people got together to pray the same prayer, no telling what would happen. One man can move a mountain according to God.....

I don't pray, to start off. Though, I do believe that prayer is a "psychic" power, no different than meditation or a Wiccan's "spells". If many people focus their mental & spiritual energy on a specific situation, miracles can definitely happen. :)

This is exactly why I don't pray or perform spells. (I'm agnostic, with an appreciation of the idea of a "supreme" being, and a pagan-like reverence for nature.) I believe that the "higher power" gave us these gifts (our brains & souls) to use on our plane of existence, not to direct some of that energy his/her/its way.

God answers the prayers of His children; He answers all of my prayers, most of the time He answers them just the way I want Him too, but not always-what I know about my heavenly Father is that He does everything for my good... everything..and He is faithful to answer all my prayers...If you seek Jesus with all of your heart, you will find Him-

You know how you get a letter from a loved one and you read it over & over again...well your heavenly Father wrote you a letter (the Holy Bible) every question you have ever had or will ever have can be answered by reading the Holy Word of God, Jesus is the LIVING WORD OF GOD...

There is a power greater than any power and that is the mighty power of God and He doesn't want us having anything to do with psychic anything...He wants us to have a personal relationship with Him through the blood of His precious Son; Jesus Christ; believing He died for our sins and the Father rose Him again three days later...He is knocking just invite Him in...

God Bless You,

Yes, the prayer force is generated in the deeper regions of psyche within the limbic system. The statistically combined efforts of the multitudes engaged in steadfast mentation i.e. prayer, does indeed have a relavent and scientifically measurable effect on an observable object of that prayer.

Prayer is simply talking to God, there are conditions to answered prayers first is that there is NO unconfessed sin in our lives, and second is that we BELIEVE in God, in the old testament time when someone sinned they brought a lamb or turtle doves, but when Jesus [the second member of The Godhead] died the temple vail was torn from top to bottom [see Matt.27:51] that ended that service and the ordances that told which kind of animal to bring was written in A "book of The Law" now when Jesus died that became of no effect nailing it to the cross Col. 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
So now we can follow Jesus to The Father and have the privledge to talk to the father in Jesus' name, we are in a world that has a total death rate, and Jesus and The Holy Bible points exactly how to get from here to there, want to find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org OR www.itiswritten.com talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com

Well Scientists say that pray acts like a placebo pill.

If you believe it, it will be real to you.

Voodoo magic works if you believe it.

Superstitions work if you believe it.
