Help me prove a theory here.

Please, this question is for Christians, only, Please!

1) Do you approve or disapprove of the Harry Potter book series?
2) Have you read the books?

I'm wanting to find out if my theory is correct. Almost every Christian I've met that opposes the Harry Potter book series has not read the books, while those Christians who have read the book series are okay with the books.

These Middle School girls just draw and whisper to one another every week and I can never gather the courage to speak up. Any suggestions? I know the Bible says for one person to talk to them, but after class I always forget.

since atheists believe that humans are animals and decendants of birds and ants, they must be vegans and members of PETA, right? If they aren't, how can they live with this knowing they are eating their fellow animal brothers and sisters? This would be like me eating my fellow humans friends and family members.

It would come with a Jesus Fish, a satellite radio that blocks all non-Christian station, and one of those "Keep right with --> God" bumper stickers.

Oh, and it would get 2 miles a gallon, because you know, global warming doesn't matter. The second coming is at hand!

When a christian renounces his faith, his fellow christian claim he was never a "true" christian. When a muslim renounces his faith, his fellow muslims are taught to kill him.

Why are religions so intolerant of people leaving their religion?

I see so many times here on yahoo answers so much hate spewing, mainly from mainstream Christians on beliefs that don't coincide with theirs (including Catholics although they too are a branch of Christanity).

I was raised Catholic, I consider myself a spiritualist who tries to keep an open mind for the most part. I am so tired of so-called Christians claiming they are going to be saved just because of their beliefs. I see so many strict Bible-belt types who are absolutely mean as snakes to other people, especially ones who don't agree with them, and I personally feel the only "abomination" God sees is hatred. God never created hatred, only man did.

If you really follow Jesus, then look how he lived. He loved, he never preached hatred. He was kind and caring. And he's suffered under religious persecution as well from the Pharisees. Regardless of your beliefs, can't we just love God without shoving our beliefs down others throats and be at peace with others' beliefs?

Okay... I know that there is some where in the Bible that it talks about "gifts" that He gives/gave certain people, and one of them is the gift of speaking in tongues. I think one of them was something (atleast similar to) like being psychic. I think there were 6 or 7 gifts.
Can someone direct me to that passage, or any others dealing with the subjects. Thanks!

The term wicca was made popular in 1954 by the British leader of the movement, Gerald Gerdner, who described it as a return to the "Old Religion" popular in Europe before Christianity. Wicca means "witch." Wicca is an umbrella group or movement that gathers under its fold very different beliefs and practices, but is at its core a thinly disguished type of old-fashioned witchcraft. Wicca is one practice that has Satan as their originator and follow him. Wiccas and other satanic groups of young people are dabbling in dangers that likely are well beyond their limited comprehension.
