because true christianity is anti-gay and does not accept the practice. Read the second chapter of Dueteronomy and you will see where it says that men shall not lay with men as they do with women. The christians I know do not hate homosexuals, they hate the act and practice of homosexuality. Love the sinner, hate the sin.

I have not noticed this. I don't believe it is right to lump all gays into a category like this. I am a Christian, and I don't like to see or hear anti-Christian rhetoric any more than any other Christian does. Many gay people have been hurt by well-intentioned Christians who are trying to express their beliefs on homosexuality, but they do so in a very judgmental and condemning way. If any gay people take offense to that and have bitter attitudes towards Christians as a result of this type of treatment, then it is understandable. I think the way to avoid this type of thing is for everyone to believe how they believe, and if they feel strongly about the way they believe, as many Christians do, then they should share their beliefs in a loving, respectful manner. To do otherwise is frankly, not acting very Christ-like.

Ok, I may sound rude for saying this, but honestly: Kind of like how Christians tend to encourage anti-gay slander? It's just a vicious cycle. The wise ones are those who rise above it and "Do unto others as they would have do to themselves."

lol I'd hate to sound like a kid but yall started it. Being gay is natural being a Christian isn't . You should be allowed to make fun of christians because they have an added belief system. Gays however are perfectly natural not all of them but a good percentage. Even though it's not the Christian way to attack gays many draw there morals from Judaism instead of the new testament. Obviously because they never really read the bible and listen to their preacher.

Why do Christians encourage anti-gay slander and rhetoric? Do you not think turn-about to be fair? Should we turn our cheek and not you?

They dont have you ever been spat in the face by a group of gays like my brother(because of his hair) was by a group of so-called Christians standing down the street ramming their views down people throats while going about their own business.I was with him at the time as was my daughter who was 6 at the time it was a great lesson on never judge a book by its cover.

i think your misinterpreting defensive actions as offensive. if a whole group of people were telling you that youre going to be damned for all eternity just for doing what makes you happy, what would you say?
why do christians feel the need to constantly ask these questions when the only answers they want to hear are the ones they structured into the question. in other words, these rhetorical christan questions meant only to reinforce and confirm archaic and prejudice opinions are getting old!

Hmm...tough question.
Maybe it's because of all the christians going around screaming, "fags burn in hell"?
Or the fact that the christians are unconstitutionally denying them basic rights?
Or the fact that the hypocritical christian leaders blather on about how immoral, sinful, and disgusting homoxexuals are, then get caught paying homosexual prostitutes for sex and crack?
Those sound like good reasons to me.
Peace.
