Why do people think Jews were the only ones who died in the holocaust?
and even though its known that 5 million non-Jews and 6 million Jews died..almost all people talk about the Jews.
Among those unfortunate 5 million people who died they were catholics, gypsies, and homosexuals. Ok so maybe 1 million more Jews died than the others, yet still all the focus is on the Jews.
I guess when they say that “Jews own the media and everything else” they really mean it.
My grandpa (RIP) escaped the holocaust (he was catholic) and he said that all the people hated the Jews in Poland (i am not saying he hated jews though). They called them the human cancer. I am not saying that I agree or not, but what the polish people meant was that everything bad happens because of the Jews and they own everything just like cancer owns your body. And yet still everyone centers the Holocaust around Jews, when the other 5 million people suffered just as much pain and suffering as the Jews…. Why is this?

My fiance and I are both Catholic. We don't have children yet (we're not married), but already we disagree on whether it is the best choice to baptise an infant or to allow them to be baptised when they choose. Some believe that unbaptised infants will not be recieved into heaven. Some believe that baptism is an outward sign of your acceptance of God and could not be done as an infant. What does the scripture say? What do you think? Where does the Catholic church stand on this? Our priest recommended a baby dedication and later a baptism upon the child's choosing. Is this acceptable to those of you who believe that infants should be baptised? Please, serious answers only!

If everyone says that it's good to have faith in god and talk to him and such.....why do people get called crazy if they say he actually spoke to them? I never understood that. Like the people who killed a man and said, "god told me to do it." That person is automatically labeld "crazy." It makes NO sense.

Susie was a good student she always attended Sunday School yet she always fell asleep.

One day the teacher was asking questions and she said who is our Creator? Then she called on Susie.

Tom noticed she was asleep so he poked her with a pencil, she shot and yelled God!

The teacher was impressed, well later Susie fell back asleep.

The teacher then called on Susie asking who died on the Cross? Tom poked Susie and she yelled .... Jesus Christ!

The teacher was again impressed. Then Susie went back asleep, the teacher called on her again asking " What did Eve say to Adam after they had their last kid?"

Tom poked her with the pencil and she jumped up and yelled.

since the bible has been translated and edited and books have been omitted from it by the catholic church, is it a reliable source of the word of GOD? since God's words were writen down by man, dont man's biases affect how the bible is writen?
