I just asked a question about creation by God or evolution and my inbox was flooded with answers. I'm not surprised by this at all. I think it's funny. You ask a question about God or Jesus and people get all fired up and sometimes downright rude. What're they all so scared of?

Ok God can't be proven by science be cause hes said to be super natrual. science is the study of nature. so evolution is a more scientific aproach but alas even evolution can not be proven. For something to be scientific fact it must be observable, measurable and repeatable. evolution may fit one or two but not all three(I don't believe it fits any).1 why do we want to argue about faiths(yes if evolution can't be proven its faith)? 2 is any one willing to sit down and discuss this open minded with the other belief

The question is this.

Can God just look at someone and say, "ok, you're forgiven"?

Or does there have to be some sort of atonement, sacrifice, a token?

If someone stepped on God's shoes could he just say "don't worry about it"

Or would the person have to give him 5 bucks and do a song and dance?

I have read the Qur'an, the King James Bible, the Book of Mormon and other religious bibles. There is so much that is the same and there is so much that is different. How do we know that our religion is the right one? Is it thru faith and our personal experiences? I respect everyone's religion, when I was in Iraq I read the English version of the Qur'an just so I would not offend the Iraqi people.

Ok, so I'm really interested in the book of Revelation. This book seems to be more understandable than Daniel. Daniel I really don't get at all. What all these kings and animals mean.
Anyway, I thought if during the Tribulation the Anti Christ would sit himself inside the 3rd temple (which they are thinking about building soon...just FYI) and proclaim himself to be God. And don't the Jewish people also believe that he is the Messiah? Right? I'm not sure. But, if they believe that he is the Messiah, wouldn't he then have to be Jewish? I mean, how else would they allow him to sit inside the temple.
I don't know if my question makes sense.
But, I have two references in the bible that kinda made me think.
The first one is in Genesis 49: 16, 17 "Dan will provide justice for his people as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan will be a serpent by the roadside, a viper along the path, that bites the horse's heels so that its rider tumbles backward."
What does this mean?

A very dear friend, who I can attest to being truly sincere in her dealings with others, offered to assist the worship leader who is having problems in her approach to members of the praise team.

The leader - who I know well enough to say she does not like being told she is wrong, who likes to have her way, who throws tantrums to make her husband bend to her will - went to the pastor of their church and gave him a story.

The pastor, in his 'wisdom', did not have any discussion with the accused, but got up on the pulpit on Sunday morning and ranted on in what my friend said was a 'backyard' manner - literally throwing words, just short of cussing.

I was not there but I have witnessed something of the sort and felt I could not be preached to by anyone who behaved like that.

There is a proper forum for mature and peaceful discussion - especially at church. I totally do not agree that that behavior was appropriate.

Anyone - Christian of not - may respond. Just be honest.
