Our souls are instruments of God, hopefully. The body is just a temporary home for the soul. Though in this world, the soul exerts its will through the body. We choose what actions we take & hopefully we choose to do what is morally right.

The body is the communication medium for the spirit while it is learning in the physical reality.

We will get a new ressurection body (perfect body)
when we get to heaven.

it can be used as one. For an example when we praise God we clap our hands, stomp our feet, sing to him, and dance for him. And he really likes that!!!!
