Well I know that God is real and everything but I cant help to wonder about him. Like, how did he write the Bible? How can it still be here to this day? Is there really a heaven. There is no way someone can come back to life.

My grandmother finds it wrong for me to wonder these things.
But I happen to think it is perfectly normal.
Any suggestions?

Since it seems like as if all christians think we all hate Jesus and would kill him.

I'd like to see what other Atheist answers would be on this one.

I'm wondering what would you have do if you see Jesus and he need help with something not related to any of his religion work or preaching. Would you help him out just like as you would help anyone else out no matter what their belif are?

Also do you respect Jesus for the person he was (Don't bring religion or god into this please! Just focus on the perosn he was)?

I'm not christain in any way and I think bible is one of the sillest book ever wote. I don't believe in god in way as many does, in fact I'm somewhat a pagan. So atheist and others non christains, please don't look at me as a target. Thanks!

Just wondering since in the bible it says that God created THIS earth and not any others. But since it's improbable that we are alone in the universe, did another God create other planets with intelligent life just like ours did? And if so, doesn't that mean that there isn't only one God?

Christians seem to criticise those who are not Christian without problem. I wonder if 'Christians' think that other 'Christians' are going to go to hell because they do not follow their form of Christianity?

Think how much happier everyone would be to know that God loved them!

There would be no more war!

We could have global peace, & no-one would fight!

Someone help him out then flatly turn down his teaching but still respect him and leave.

How would he feel if he see one of his follower try to shove their belif down the person's throat after the person repeatly make it clearly he doesn't want to be one of the follower?

I've been researching out of my own curiousity on the web about scientology (was reading an article about Tom Cruise). I don't have a bias per se, but I can't find any articles that aren't "scorched earth"...either scientology is manna from heaven or it's Satan's needlepoint. One common factual thread I saw was the turnover rate...it seems like the members are predominately young (16-30), then drop out. Are there any (a) former Scientologists who have an opinion about the religion (especially interested in those non-practicing but who have a positive view), and/or (b) current Scientologists who have been in the church for 15+ years. Non-Scientologists can skip posting, I only want some first-hand perspective. Thanks!

I am just curious...this goes for ALL religions. EVEN if you athiest...when do you feel you are one with yourself? If you could state your religion or belief. This could be interesting.

I am Jewish... I feel I am one with G-d when my mind and soul capture every little detail throughout my days. I just have certain feelings when I feel really good and complete. Everything seems brighter even on dreary days, smells are more intense, the voices of my loved ones make me feel whole. When I can take a second out of my day to just enjoy my surroundings and know that I am not alone and G-d is all around me.

Seriously in today's time how can people deny evolution and believe in God. There is undeniable proof of evolution and no REAL proof of God. AND PLEASE DON"T SAY EVERYTHING IS PROOF OF GOD. (that is an answer for people who don't have real answers)

Okay let's assume God told Moses the stories in Genesis. let us also assume that Jesus is God. Now Jesus told many parables, and metaphors. Now since Jesus is God, that would mean God likes the metaphors. So maybe Adam and Eve, Noah, and the gang, were all just stories to teach the Isrealites about sin, and living with God.

Also, it would explain some of the ridiculousness of it all.

Revelation 16:8 says "The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire."

Do you think this is referring to global warming? Any other passages that could be related to global warming?

Do you still want to mock God after reading this?
This is really powerful.

Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death! Make a
personal reflection about this. Very interesting, read until the
end...

It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7): "Be not deceived; God
is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Here are some men and women who mocked God:

JOHN LENNON: Some years before, during his interview with an
American Magazine, he said: "Christianity will end, it will
disappear. I do not have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus
was ok, but his subjects were too simple, Today we are more famous than Him" (1966). Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more
famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

TANCREDO NEVES (President of Brazil): During the Presidential
campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even
God would remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.

CAZUZA (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet): During a
show in Caneca¯ ( Rio de Janeiro ), whilist smoking his cigarette,
he puffed out some smoke into the air and said: "God, that's for
you." He died at the age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible manner.

THE MAN WHO BUILT TITANIC: After the construction of Titanic, a
reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic
tone he said: "Not even God can sink it" The result: I think you
all know what happened to the Titanic.

MARILYN MONROE: She was visited by Billy Graham during a
presentation of a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to
preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she
said: "I don't need your Jesus". A week later, she was found dead in her
apartment.

BON SCOTT: The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang: "Don't stop me, I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell". On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead,
he had been choked by his own vomit.

CAMPINAS/SP IN 2005 In Campinas, Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend. The mother accompanied her to the car
and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said
to the daughter - holding her hand, who was already seated in the
car: "MY DAUGHTER, GO WITH GOD AND MAY HE PROTECT YOU." She responded: "ONLY IF HE (GOD) TRAVELS IN THE TRUNK, CAUSE INSIDE HERE IT'S ALREADY FULL" Hours later, news came by that they had been
involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be
recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the
trunk was intact. The police said there was no way the trunk could have
remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of
eggs, none were broken.

Christine Hewitt: a Jamaican Journalist and entertainer, said the
Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written, in June 2006
she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other
name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus. Many
have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still
alive.

JESUS!!!

P.S: If it was a joke, you would have sent it to everyone. So are
you going to have courage to send this?. I have done my part,
Jesus said "If you are embarrassed about me, I will also be embarrassed
about you before my father."

What benefit does it have, if a man gains the whole world but
loses his soul? What can man give in exchange of his soul? (Matthew
16:26).
