can we really justify eating animals just because they taste good? Then how can we say say eating another human is bad if we taste good also especially if you're athiest and believe in evolution? if I eat you aM I more evolved?

I read bible and I never find out in the whole bible that jesus(PBUH) himself says that I am god and he says that worship me. If he had not commit like that then why people worship him.

If you have any book in throug out the world even its a 10 page of book we find out that the name of the book have present inside. So why the word 'BIBLE' is not present in the whole bible. Who printed name 'Bible' on the front page.

everyone on the west side of the state thinks the people on the eastern side of the state are backward hillbillies. So, can we ever expect to get along with other countries/groups if we can't even show tolerance within a state? Or is this just a bad example because, well, it's Kentucky?

Yeah,there are hardly any evidence in this story.The story where the Jews were forbidden to enter to chosen land and wandering in the desert for about forty years has no archeological support.There are about 15,000 Jews wandering in the desert yet no single evidence to support this story.Surely it is only A STORY,RIGHT?????????????

If God created the universe for us, then why bother making all the far off parts of the unverse so interesting rather than just worrying about the bits within a few hundred lightyears of our Solar system. Or did he create for the inhabitants that he loves on the few billion other world's that probably have intelligent life.

Its kinda wierd but ... I masturbate... i tried to quit but i got this wierd feeling in my lower gut and it makes me wanna rip it out!

I walked past a mosque last night (in Indonesia) and I was surprised to see only about 15 men inside a fairly large mosque listening to the Mullah. The Mullah actually didn't need to use a microphone for the listeners to hear him but his microphone and the one on top of the building was turned up so that the whole neighbourhood had to listen to him. I am not a Muslim but I know many Muslims as well that can't understand why this is so and it annoys them.

It's called Cyber Nations and it's a nation simulation game. It's more complex and realistic than other nation simulation games like Nation States. It's a lot of fun. I'm going to start playing it in a few days and I need volunteers to simulate nations of their own so we can build an alliance. Is anyone game?

I wasnt bought up christian but wasnt made to believe there wasnt a god. i had associations with the salvation army when younger and was baptised with one religion. i now follow the salvation army views in a sense and somewhere deep inside simply feel there is a god but people who worship god and speak of him in every day conversation annoy me! is this just my belief system and everyone cherishes god in a different way than others? what religion am i if i don't go to church, pray sometimes for assistance and for the people close to me who i love, am interested in learning about the bible and have read some of it and just generally believe there is a god watching over us, assisting us with our life paths and feel in my heart he is there

I'm curious to know how people view this religion. Wicca is a form of Paganism and Witchcraft, and if you believe some sources Wiccans are feard by some and hated by others.

At the age of 28 I have begun attending church groups in the last month.

On the first night I met a 25 yo lady who seemed to want to talk to me. We were having a good conversation but since it was getting late I cut it off.

When I saw her next she asked for my email and phone number so she could send me more info about the group, which she did via email - why did she need my phone number?

there was an activity day last weekend where I saw her again. She had her nice shoes on. I didn't talk to her much as I wanted to meet the other people. On my way leaving the church I saw her waiting around with her friends she told me we can have coffee to discuss anything. I didn't think much about it at that time so I politely suggested a lift home if she was stuck, said goodbye and left.

She has crossed my mind since so I want to give her further attention. I don't know what is appropriate behaviour in these spiritual situations?

Johnny is a sort of a bully. A mean kid. He has an ant farm, and he likes that. But from time to time he gets bored of the ants. He takes a bucket filled with water, and throws the water over the ants. Most of them drown, a few survive, because Johnny was so sweet to give them a little piece of wood.

Some time later, when the ant population has grown again, these ants are still argueing on Yahoo!Ants whether or not Johnny loved all of them. Some ants defend Johnny, some are even willing to die for him. Others call Johnny mean, and some don't even believe Johnny exists.

I just talked to Johnny, and he finds the ants kinda silly. I tend to agree with him. How about you?
