Matthew 7:1- Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Do ya'll read on to verse 2?

Matthew 7:2-For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
This doesnt mean not to judge people at all;but it's congruent with the teaching of faith without works.
James 2:18-Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
In matthew 7,when you read on to verse 2&beyond,you come to understand that it's saying not to judge people for doing or not doing something unless you yourself are willing to be held to that same standard.Like a preacher who teaches one thing, but in his own pratice does exactly the oppisite;if I'm not mistakin, those type people are called pharasies;not willing to do what they teach. So do people actually read&understand the words after "judge not"?Or do you just stop there¬ read on,in order to justify your position?

I was sitting here looking at pictures of my grandchildren, and thinking about their pure love and trust. Only God could make something that pure.

I love this poem.

My favorite version is The Thunder Perfect Intellect translation.

It I understand is the more acurate translation. Well those things are always a bit tricky.

I was somehow transported upon reading it for the first time.

Core moment.

Peace!

Was it from going to church, from experiencing love from your parents, from nature, from an unusual experience,...? How did you come to realize God?

Ok we all know the ''MARK'' because most of us have read revelations.MY MOTHER is a christian and what she said upset me in a way.She said she would never accept the mark of the beast because of her beliefs,BUT if myself and my two other siblings were starving to death and we were going to die,she said she would accept the mark because seeing her own children die is worse than hell.I can see her love and If in my lifetime, the ''MARK'' were to be implemented,I wouldnt want to see my mother burn for us,its such a dilemma.wouldnt you agree??

Are you married to a person with whom you have spiritually joined to the point of complete "welding" including your body; or is a marriage certificate needed to join two people together in that way?

i know God knows everything . And that He gives man free will.
If He knows already those who will accept or reject His salvation, will He give up on those whom He know who will reject His Salvation?

Since a lot has been written about the fate of those who will reject the Messiah in the afterlife....

What i am interested to know is....What will happen to their fate in this life?

Will He give up on them, because He knows already what they'll choose>?

you realized Jesus was the Savior?

I want the first times you just knew in your heart for yourself, not the first time someone told you.

Any additional thoughts, comments, etc. are appreciated.

I am not trying to be a smart**. I am just wondering what religions would say that someone like this would not be rewarded because they did not choose a (your) religion.

There are some links below...there is also a video but its pretty long.

http://www.peacepilgrim.org

link to the video is here
http://www.peacepilgrim.org/FoPP/index.html

They will also send books for free (for those who might think its a for profit thing)

"...Those who were Christian were sure she preached the beliefs of Jesus Christ. Those who were Jewish, felt she represented the way of Yahweh. Buddhists, Bahais and Jains were sure she spoke their religions. And those who were Muslim were certain that she preached the teachings of Islam..."

Yahoo - why does the spirituality category need to be paired with the religion category. they are not compatible, nor are they the same thing. the religious groups want to fight black and white, right and wrong.

The spiritualists want to discuss those things that define growth for themselves and for the earth. will you fix it please.
