Luther believed and now Christians believe that salvation is obtained individually. That is, we only have to believe in Jesus to be saved. What is the pupose of having a Pope? Is he a "special messenger to GOd? I highly doubt it. Why do we need a human being representing the whole crowd? Salvation cannot be obtained through Pope. It can be obtained just through Jesus.

The Bible describes Jesus' appearance before various people in The Bible...

But are there any credible or believable accounts of appearances by Jesus that are not found in the Bible?

There have been people who claim they saw the risen Christ. Are any of those accounts other than those found in the scriptures credible by any standards? Do you believe any of them?

The HELL is not supposed to be the lake of fire so why the bible says that they are different.
Rev. 20:13, 14, KJ: “The sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell* delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.”

So the dead will be delivered from hell. Notice also that hell is not the same as the lake of fire but will be cast into the lake of fire.

We tied some fishing line around his molar, and one end to the front door, and I slammed it.

Do you not see your Bible is just a manual for power? Look at the Radical Right. Where do you think they get their power from? Not God: Then their would be no left. They get only as much power as the number of ignorant Fundies alive at the time. Those politicians manipulate the Bible for power. But that is the basic intent behind the Bible. Just as the Sith desired: The ultimate method for gaining power.

Follow the Jedi way. Become Hindu or Buddhist or something. That's a step in the right direction. Kenobi is waiting. Don't worry we won't send you to hell if you disagree. Only true masters join the Force.

If not the laws of God, then what laws do Atheists live by???

Well a simple answer is: The laws that the Cops protect.

Did everyone forget that there are manmade laws that every court room and police pepartment have???

These are the laws that every has to (even though we break a few) live by.
