I mean as a race they have been around much longer than those mentioned in the Bible. In spite of overwhelming opposition throughout history, they are still here, while most of their enemies are long gone. Has anyone else ever thought about this, and what conclusion have you drawn?

I want to see what people think the meaning of life is. What the Christians and non-Christians think about this. How their minds differ. You Knoe that kind of stuff.

My father-in-law passed away yesterday and he was catholic. My husband hasn't stepped foot in a catholic church in over 10 years and can not remember any hymns for his fathers funeral. I am also looking for poems or something of the sort to be read at the funeral. My father-in-law was a farmer and a quiet man. Any help would be great. Thanks to everyone who response.

Although I know in the Old Testament it refers to not eating unclean animals, does it really make sense that God would create an animal that he would consider unclean? I suspect that people decided for one reason or another that some things were good and some bad. What do you think?

I have been musing on this and would like to hear what you think. I see that we were given answers to questions that we had not asked beginning at childhood and these answers we were given effected our outlook upon things. My question is, don't we fail at life if we don't question these answers? If there is truth shouldn't we find it for ourselves using every available resource?

You took the kid there and waited for God to tell you it's only a joke.

God came and ate the kid like a banana.

You cried out,it's not by the book.

God smiled and told you:it's faked ,God never ever lied to anyone.

Some Muslim workers at Target refuse to handle pork
Submitted by Chris Serres, Star Tribune Staff Writer on Mon, 03/12/2007 - 5:21pm.

How would you feel if a cashier made you swipe your own groceries because of his/her religious beliefs?

I'm a reporter who covers Target for the Star Tribune and the other day, I got a call from someone who said that an employee at the Target store downtown refused to run his bacon through a scanning machine. He was mighty upset, arguing that the cashier had "no right to work as a cashier at Target" if she wasn't prepared to swipe his groceries.

At the Target store on E. Lake Street, a cashier wearing a hijab looked uncomfortable when I showed up at the cash register with a frozen pepperoni pizza.

I asked her if it was because she was Muslim, and she nodded her head. "I can't even touch it," she said.

Ok so i have been thinking(yes i do that occasionally)LOL!!
Dont religous nuts realise they are being insulted when they are told they are a flock?
Or to be like little lambs?
I live in Australia, and i have seen a lot of sheep, and they have got to be the dummest animals on the bloody planet! All they do all day is blindly follow each other around!!(yes i know ...just like christians etc..!!)Really if one runs to one side of the paddock, they all do! If one jumps they all do!! Its well known how dumb sheep are...So dont you bible bashers realise the joke is on you???

If the odds are like one in a billion, would that mean that on a billion earth-like planets only one would sustain life?

Here is the link to the Nicene Creed. Do the people of the Latter Day Saints church believe in these same teachings? If not, what do they disagree with?

I am curious how the gay movement came to chose the rainbow as it's symbol? I have always thought that it was an odd choice seeing as how the rainbow symbolizes a promise from God to His people since antiquity. It seems opposite ends of the spectrum are using the same symbol. Just curious.

I am sorry to say that I wanted to believe so much in the bible story of Christ ect., but the more I read and studied and looked into it the less I believed.
I feel real bad because I think there is no real answer to find in any religion. Does anyone have the same feeling as me?
