You took the kid there and waited for God to tell you it's only a joke.

God came and ate the kid like a banana.

You cried out,it's not by the book.

God smiled and told you:it's faked ,God never ever lied to anyone.

Well currently he's batting .500. He spared Isaac but took Jeptah's daughter.

I wouldn't show up. I would suffer eternal torment rather than sacrifice my offspring to such a monster.

This is exactly what Abraham mush have been thinking too.

But he trusted God to be loving.

Something we find very very hard these days, even though God approaches us not to kill our son but to give us his mercy.

Abraham suffered the typical symptoms of schizophrenia. If I heard "God" telling me to kill my child, I'd check myself into a mental health facility.
I would rather suffer the eternal tortures of hell for all eternity than hurt ONE hair on my children's heads.

Its in the Bible He would never ask a human to sacrifice their child again. But he freely sacrificed His son for our sins. Chew on that for a while. Amen and Peace out...............
