I mean as a race they have been around much longer than those mentioned in the Bible. In spite of overwhelming opposition throughout history, they are still here, while most of their enemies are long gone. Has anyone else ever thought about this, and what conclusion have you drawn?

When you are the Chosen people you dont have luck its a blessing. Think about it there persecutions over the thousands of years should be enough to make any unbeliever realize these people and blessed and God is really watching over them. Okay He does what He promises. Amen and Peace out.......

God told Abraham, I will bless them that bless you and will curse them that curse you.

They are God's Chosen People and are protected by Him.

Look at the 6 days war. The Arab nations sprang a sneak attack on them. After losing some land, they came back and in less than the 6 days retook their land and a lot of Arab land: That's God's hand at work for them.

They had no land for a long time because they had displeased God to the extent that he scattered them for a while. They are coming home now. I hope you realize what that means

You can see from history that being chosen is not the same as having it easy. Because its during the worst times that they are closest to God.

I wouldn't say being conquered by every enemy around them, being taken in captivity in Babylon, having Jerusalem sacked and their numbers scattered through the world, being persecuted and killed in the Inquisitions, being slauthered by the millions by the Nazis and oppressed by the Soviets and made war upon by the Arabs adds up to good luck. Would you?
