Sometimes I wonder where you guys come up with these questions but I will answer never the less. The key to your answer is the first word of your question....IF. It does state in the Bible that most people will go to hell so if it weren't for Jesus and the sacrifice we believe he made, the rest of us would go to hell also. Would we be Christians? That is the part of the question that I find odd. Being a Christian is based on the premise that Jesus Christ died for our sins. IF for some reason he did not, then, the answer is obvious.

The Bible basically does say that. That's why Christians spend their whole life feeling sorry for every move they make, since accepting their screw-ups and repenting is apparently the only way to stay out of hell.

As a Christian:
We believe that we all are going to hell until we accept Christ as our savior....so we have all been there already and taken the path to heaven. We believe everyone born of Adam dies(goes to hell) unless they repent. So the Bible already says that.

If everyone was bound for Hell it wouldn't matter if you were a Christian or not.

Noone cause if we were all bound for hell there'd be no really to even attempt christianity, because there would be no options.

"if"
Here we go again.
A hypothetical question from a nonbeliever. One that cannot truly be answered, when the Bible states the requirements for those who enter hell.

it does state that
"all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God"
"there is none righteous. no, not one"
but, it also states
"but God demonstrates his own love towards us and while we were yet still sinners, Christ died for us."
we are all bound for hell, but God gave us Jesus Christ and through him we can have eternal life
