This is the best question I've ever heard here. And an equally intersting answer! What type of indian? Are we talking east Indian? They had an interesting culture as well.

How cool can you get?

The bull jumping. The Goddesses.

The clothes!

Minoan men wore loincloths and kilts. Women wore robes that were open to the navel and had short sleeves and layered flounced skirts. Women also had the option of wearing a strapless fitted bodice, the first fitted garments known in history. The patterns on clothes emphasized symmetrical geometric designs.>>

Flounced skirts? It doesn't get any better. ;)

Seriously, it's very difficult to choose. I would love to have seen some of the earlier cultures, 20-50 thousand years ago. So much unwritten history there. Greek is fun, however, very intellectual. How about sitting with Hippocrates for a while? Maybe a peek into Dante's bedroom? :) Mozart's nursery? Oh I'd love to see the Renaissance, but would equally love to see the people who roamed the Steppes during the middle ages! Too much to do, too much to see....it's a dizzying thought.

Thanks...

I think that now is the best time ever. We have the ability to know other cultures, see stars and planets "up close" and the technology to create things that would have required a lifetime of study before, and such better conditions that we stand a chance of living long enough to actually learn something. There's such a need for courage now you couldn't want for more of a challenge.

Why didn't you go to the most populated forum, the Singles and Dating section? Anyway...

I would live... probably in World War II in Singapore, even though it'd be a bad idea, since Singapore got ambushed by Japanese troops that invaded from the land through Malaysia. Well, I'd go with D-Day. Be an Allied sniper on D-Day. That would be the greatest time I could live in. Or I could actually go to the time before D-Day to get sniper training first, so I could actually snipe somebody instead of trying and failing.

Otherwise, I would like to live in the California Gold Rush, the time when there were cowboy quickdraw duels and train robbers.

to some degree, the romantic side of me would have liked to have been an adult at the turn of the century or in the 50's (I was born in 59)
BUT
I think, truly, NOW is the most exciting time to live. There is so much going on and communication is so much easier and because of it the world is much much smaller.
Whether this has anything to do with R&S or not, I also think it's the most exciting time spiritually as well.

Right now, and right here (or in someplace with a better climate). I know that's a lame answer, but if I live now I get to see all sorts of new technology appear. And keep in mind, our current romantic perceptions of past societies are almost certainly not accurate. Everyone was poor, dirty, and had short lives up until the mid 20th century.

I would want to live now. There are around 600 million people who have been filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues like the original 120 did in Acts chapter two. From 120 in two thousand years to 600 million. Now is the time to be living.

I am quite fond of the here and now. I think that God is preparing a revival like the world has never seen. These are exciting times, and I can't wait to see what God has in store for us in the near future.

Could I take my friends and this chat group with me? Wow, I don't think we could reach a consensus.

Well, if we all agreed to to a certain place and time, whoops! We forgot about each of their friends and family members. Well, I imagine we could work out a deal sometime in the future. Oh, yeah that has already been worked out, it is called "Heaven".

Aw, I'm touched. I'd say here, although another choice would be maybe the future, although it would suck to get stuck there. Is time travel a possibility? You know I don't like making quick decisions, I'd like to check out some hot spots before I make a final choice.
