The Bible describes Jesus' appearance before various people in The Bible...

But are there any credible or believable accounts of appearances by Jesus that are not found in the Bible?

There have been people who claim they saw the risen Christ. Are any of those accounts other than those found in the scriptures credible by any standards? Do you believe any of them?

Check out the Nag Hammadi library, just do a search for it online. This is a collection of texts found about 50 years ago, and contain things like the Gospel of Philip, which the Da Vinci Code was (falsely) based on. These are texts that were deemed heretical by the proto-orthodox movement when trying to establish what we now have in the Bible. There are appearances of Jesus after his resurrection in some of the texts. Some are very very hard to understand.

It is important to remember that there are many, many, many more gospels, etc. that didn't make it into the Bible, but were considered Scripture by various Christian groups in the ancient period. It is also important to remember that the writers of the gospels that made it into the Bible had an agenda to support their own belief system... Did you know that 1, 2 Timothy and Titus are believed by most scholars to not have been written by Paul, just attributed to him?

it would make extra experience however the entire account nevertheless would not ring genuine to me. The wording in specific of the events of the Fourth day seems to recommend that he made the extra effective mild and the lesser mild on that day. i'm no expert on the Hebrew language yet eye balling it as a trouble-loose guy, made seems to have the comparable implication as created for this reason the sunlight got here after the Earth for this reason the entire account contradicts technology.

If visions of Jesus present as stated, then I'll believe the visions are legitimate.

Acts 1:9 -

And when he (Jesus) had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

John 10:16 "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."

The Savior said, He had other sheep to attend to. There is a record of Him tending His other sheep. The stick of Joseph (out of Egypt/coat of many colors).

Also Acts 1:9
Ezekiel 37:15-19
Acts 1:19

After Christ's Resurrection he appeared and told the people "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." John 10:16

When Jesus appeared in America (3 Nephi 15:21) Jesus states "And verily I say unto you, that ye are they of whom I said: "Other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." The Book of Mormon answers the question about who the "other sheep" are. That's why it is called "Another Testament of Jesus Christ."

The morons, I mean MORMONS, believe that Jesus Christ appeared on Earth and gave his teachings to the Nephites. A prophet named Mormon recorded these on gold plates. His son Moroni, an angel or resurrected being, buried the plates.

On September 21, 1823, Moroni appeared to Smith three times, to inform him that he had been chosen to restore God's church on earth. Four years later on September 22, 1827, Smith received the plates from Moroni, who, as last of the ancient prophets, had buried them in a hill called Cumorah (near Palmyra, NY) in 421 AD where they remained buried for 1,400 years, until Moroni returned in the form of a resurrected personage and showed the plates to Joseph Smith. After Smith translated them with a set of special stones (Seers) set in silver bowls they were returned to Moroni on May 2, 1838 and never seen again.

Mormon teaching states that God had originally evolved from mankind. Therefore present humanity could become gods. Contrary to Christianity, Mormon belief asserts that the three persons of the Godhead (The Trinity) are three separate beings. Jesus Christ appeared on Earth to save mankind, but each person's salvation nevertheless depends on the quality of his own life. A baptism by immersion is practiced, and there is also a baptism on behalf of the dead. Because Mormons believe it is possible for dead ancestors to participate in salvation there is great interest in genealogy tracing one's ancestry among them.

since it is all mythology, you can tell the story however you like.

it won't matter -- cult myth is just that -- mythology! unprovable stories and make-believe.

there are no credible accounts, so just pretend to make up your own! it'll be ok. that's what the writers of the bible did!

and if you think anyof the accounts are credible, then study the 4 chapters in red, and look at how different they are in details. pretty silly, for something supposedly inspired by a perfect god.
