There are a few questions, which I will try to answer:

1. Jesus said He is God. - see these verses:

(John 8:58)
"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

(Isaiah 9:6)
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.

(John 1:1-5,14)
The Word Became Flesh (Jesus): In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. … The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

(John 14:9-11)
Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.

(John 20:30-31)
Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

(1 John 4:15)
If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.

(John 14:6)
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

2. I dont think what its called on the outside is important. What IS important, is to know that the Bible is the Word of God.

3. Jesus came to earth so that we could understand God, and that we would have a chance at salvation. Without Jesus, we would not make it. There are many, many reasons why.

God knows about human emotions because He created us, but He cannot look upon our sin because He is holy. Jesus intercedes for us to God.

When Mary was told by the angel she would carry the child of the Holy Spirit she was told he would be called Emanuel (God is with us). Jesus often said if you saw Him you saw the Father (God). Jesus' Resurrection and Ascension were proof of His deism.

The Bible is the name used to describe the collection of the Old and New Testament. It was not written specifically to be called the Bible by any one man but by many men. Therefore no one who wrote it would have called it the Bible. They were unaware that it would be collected into one book. Much of it was written in the form of scrolls. The word Bible actually comes from the Greek word meaning book.

Jesus came to earth to provide a means for man to bridge the gap that sin had created between man and God. To do that He had to become human and complete the unbreakable covenant.

The English word “Bible” comes through the Latin from the Greek word bi·bli′a, meaning “little books.” This, in turn, is derived from bi′blos, a word that describes the inner part of the papyrus plant out of which a primitive form of paper was made. The Phoenician city of Gebal, famous for its papyrus papermaking, was called by the Greeks “Byblos.” (See Jos 13:5, ftn.) In time bi·bli′a came to describe various writings, scrolls, books, and eventually the collection of little books that make up the Bible. Jerome called this collection Bibliotheca Divina, the Divine Library.

Jesus does not say he is God because he is God's Son. He also says that the Father is the one to worship.

Matthew 4:10: "Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’"

Jesus is referred to as Mighty God, but never as Almighty God, that position is for Jehovah only. He never wanted anyone to worship him as God!

Psalm 83:18: "That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth."

God chooses to reveal Himself to those whose hearts are right before him. Those who humble themselves and seek Him will be found by Him! Those who see in Christ Jesus the exact representation of God know he is more than just a good man! This was prophecied in the Holy Scriptures thousands of years before Christ was born.

In the Bible book of Psalms (chapter 49 verses 7-9) it says:
"No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him - the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough - that he should live on for ever and not see decay." Well, Jesus came from heaven to be born as the baby of Bethlehem to redeem sinners from the pit of death. That is why He died on the cross at Calvary - to substitute for us. He took our punishment and bore our sins because He was without sin. He was not a man, because the Holy Scriptures say no man can pay God a ransom for another! May God bless you as you seek Him in prayer to reveal just who Jesus Christ really is.

Jesus never says he is God because he isn't. The trinity has pagan origins.

http://www.watchtower.org/library/ti/article_04.htm

If the Father and the Son have a name (Jehovah, Jesus Christ), why doesn't the Holy Spirit also?

"But he, being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand, and he said: “Look! I behold the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God’s right hand." - Acts 7:55, 56 => Where's the Holy Spirit?
The Holy spirit is God's active force, his power.
The texts from the Bible refer to the Holy Spirit as something, not as someone.

How could God be Jesus. Can you and your son be the same person? No, it's impossible.
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation." - Colossians 1:15. = > Jesus was created. He has a begining but God doesn't.

“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36). If God and Jesus are the same shouldn't Jesus know the day?

The whole Bible testifies that God the Son who is Christ will take a body as a body of Man and be among men, and offer His body as an offering of sin to save all mankind. If you haven't read that yourself, that does not mean that what you say is correct. The whole Bible shows that Jesus said He is God and just stop repeating that remark any more because we have heard it so many times and it is fooling only those who never read the Bible. Did Jesus say He is God? Yes he did
Christ said: I am the way, the truth and the Life
Who can say that except God.?
In John 17:21, Christ prays to the Father: "Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me." Who can say that except God.?
In Isaiah 9:7 Isaiah prophesied about Christ and says: "Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this" Who can rule an eternal kingdom except God.?
In Philippeans:2:5-8 we read: "5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in very nature of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7but made himself nothing, taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself

In 1John 5:5 we read: "Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God" The son of Man is Man; the Son of God is God!

In 1John 5:10 John wrote: "10Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life."
In 1John 5:10-12, John writes: "1That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4We write this to make our[a] joy complete."
In John 10:31-33, John again testifies: "31Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, 32but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?" 33"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."

Once again the whole Bible says that Jesus is God so don't ask that question and say where in the Bible did jesus say I am God? If you haven't read it, then that doesn't mean it is not in the Bible!

Jesus never said any such thing.

Check the passages made by previous posters where they try to prove he did and sure enough, there is nothing whatsoever to suggest that Jesus is god.... It isn't said at all.... And if it isn't present in the parts put forward to suggest it would be then it is highly unlikely to be mentioned in the parts left out.

People worship Jesus because his disciples did.... because they confused what he said entirely and got the whole thing horribly wrong. Jesus himself was wise in many respects, though misguided in his upbringing by the religious nature of the times. That much can't be helped.... Jesus had an understanding of the way of things, and he had a few smart answers... and because he spread these to his disciples the fools thought he was divinely sent and worshipped him.
They were all morons... basically.
Then again most people were morons in those days.

Well, Jesus never wanted to be worshiped but the people from that time did it every time when he Health some one.
in the passage when he enter to Jerusalem riding a donkey the people cried "Hosanna, Hosanna" that means, Save us.
if you try to search a little bit more or read the bible more, you can find the answers on ti. remember, some chapters guide to you trough some passages to another, and its related each other.
in the book of Revelation you will find out who Jesus is, and why He must be worshiped.
Jesus felt Good and bad I remained to you the temptations which Satan tried to make him felt . he was human, he'd sweat,
he'd cry, he felt anger, and hunger.
I hope it help you.
