Why do we have people living in, not conducive to apes, cold climates? Why, when, how, would the first ape like or man like creatures go to a climate that is contrary to their habitat? Other than zoos, I seriously doubt that there are any apes calling, Alaska, Iceland, the North Pole, etc their home. I assume that, per the theory of evolution, life ,espically ape's, started in Africa or maybe South America. When and why would these yet man creatures, go to such locations? How did they get there? Were they smart enough to build boats? Did they know what they were getting into? I'm talking apes or ape like creatures, not yet fully man, in this question. Thank You.

I am curious if anyone can express how the believe without talking about other people.

I believe that Jesus Christ died for all of our sins, so we can be saved. I believe that one day I will be walking in heaven in peace. I love to worship the Lord and read the Bible.

What do you believe?

Altruism and other cooperative behaviors of living beings clearly reveal that the theory of evolution is invalid. The actual reason for this is natural selection, the mechanism upon which Darwin based this theory. According to this mechanism, those living things that are better adapted to their habitat will survive, whereas those that are unfit and weak will be eliminated. Thus there is no room for cooperation, only competition between organisms. However, we see that nature is not an environment in which only the strong survives and where a merciless struggle for existence continues.
All living beings hunt in order to survive, and fight to protect themselves. Apart from this, however, many organisms also practice unselfish concern to protect their offspring or risk their own lives for the safety of the larger population. Nature provides us with many examples of different species defending the interests of each other.

The “ape-men” we see in newspapers, magazines, or films are all drawings based on the imagination of evolutionists. Inspired by a single tooth, evolutionists sometimes give shape to features that do not actually leave any fossil traces, such as the structure of the nose and lips, the shape of the hair, the form of the eyebrows, and they prepare illustrations of half ape/half men creatures and even draw false pictures depicting the families and social lives of these creatures. They try to mislead the public by this method.

I like trying to turn Yahoo Answers into a debate forum, so here is my rebuttal to alot of answers from my previous question which was: Why didn't all the animals kill each other when they were set free.

Now first of all, alot of people didn't even seem to read the question and think that I was asking why the animals didn't kill each other while on the boat...

Now my rebuts:
Tyler K said: "They took a bunch more than just two of every animal on the ark, some animals they took many more of. ...Besides, I'm sure there were still plenty of fish around for a lot of those predators. Besides, even carnivores are able to sustain themselves on vegetables. They just don't like to."

Your first point: There would have to have been alot of prey for the predators, at the very least a big predator like a Lion has to eat a reasonable size (say, a Gazelle) animal every week, now, 52 weeks in a year, thats 104 animals eaten without being given the chance to produce or support an offspring

It's not always, but most of the time. Why do people do that? I don't give thumbs down for people who claim to follow a religion, so why should people feel it is so wrong to be an atheist.

Did Jesus actually claim to be the son of God? Did he also claim that that was the same thing as God?
If so, where exactly in the Bible?
Or is this just a Christian invention to big up their man?

I believe in God, and would like to talk about God but it seems that all is on here is things about God not being real. I think questions should be about the way you believe and not about your wrong-no your wrong questions.

[Shakir 38:41] And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment.
[Shakir 38:42] Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink.
[Shakir 38:43] And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding.
[Shakir 38:44] And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent m returning (to Allah).

no matter what u say..if u cant find proof that god created the universe..it is not a fact, but a figment of the curious minds of human beings. all strongly religious people speak up and bring me a strong enough arguement.

Didn't all kill each other the second they were set free? I mean think about it, every time a predator ate, it would kill a species, and if that were the case...there would be no animals left with a very short space of time...

I'm not exactly atheist. I'm more of a buddhist but I believe that the four elements (earth, air, water, and fire) are gods/goddess. So of course I get along with atheist, agonstic, and other buddhsim better. But I never really have any bad experience with wiccans and hinduism either.

I am an exCatholic, and my reasons for dropping my religion is as such.

I don't understand why I was taught to bow down to a dead Jesus on a cross and to pray to the saints.

I don't accept that they call a Priest father and that they have to tell their sins to the priest.

And then the priest tells them to say ten Hail Mary's and twenty
Our Fathers.

This is seriously sending out a wrong message and this is why Catholics get it in to their heads that once they commited a sin all they have to do is say ten hail Mary's and Twenty Our Fathers, and all is forgiven.

It doesn't work that way some body who is truly repented does not repeat the offence again.

Is it one of these or a mixture of some of these or all of these?I am trying to understand the need for religion. What drives it?In my experience everything that religious people describe as the reason why they believe, usually falls into one of these.

What really makes religion so influential? What is the main driving force?

Another crazy question by me. I wonder what you think. Only God is 100% correct in His actions. No matter what we think we may be wrong. Some people by their beliefs or without the choice to believe may be closer to Goodness/God than those who seek to follow someone's abstract on what God wants us to be.
