I think before I believe the "gay" animal thing I'd have to see some of the research done. There are some questions I'd need answered before I could make any kind of conclusion. For example, what kind of physical stresses were present when this behavior was recorded? Was there famine, increases in population density, drought, or increase in human encroachment on the land? Was the population lacking in one sex or the other, meaning where there less than 10 percent present of one sex or the other? Does this type of behavior exist when there are no extreme stresses on the population? There are tons of environmental stresses that could result in unusual behavior. Just recording that it happened proves nothing as far as it being "normal" behavior. There are far too many questions left unanswered for this to be a valid conclusion.

first of all that story does not mean it did happen.it may be just symbolical.
secondly, animals do not have intellect and will. If they are "gay", it is only biological. Animals who are bisexual do it eitehr due to extinction, defense mechanism etc. It is not psychological. Not like people who can decide and choose thier preferences.
finally God did not say he does not like gays. And furthermore, he is forgiving, not prejudicial. If you are gay that does not automatically mean you are forsaken. and if God forgives people how much more animals?

First of all "animals", behave like animals. Unfortunately, so do some people. God commanded Noah to gather one pair of each animal, one male and one female, so that they could reproduce, and fill the earth. So that each kind of animal He created would not be destroyed in the flood. Only people try to pervert God's Plan and His Words. God Loves EVERYONE!! it's sin He hates!!

You will not find any animal in the animal kingdom that is inherently homosexual, although some species of mammals will have some homosexual behaviors - mainly primates and birds. It's not used to express a sexual preference, but rather to express acceptance and other affective states of the group.

Name one animal that is gay. Name one entire species that is gay.
Flood, the
by Rabbi Geoffrey W. Dennis
The Biblical account of God flooding the entire world in response to the wicked devolution of creation (Gen. 6:5-9:17) is a wholly miraculous tale. Its supernatural aspects include the marvelous assembly of all the earth's animal species and forty days of continuous rain. God effectively reversed the creative process, unleashing the watery chaos that He had tamed in the creation account of Genesis. Rabbinic literature adds these fantastic details: The corruption of the world prior to the Flood was so complete that even animals sought to have sex with different species. The generation of the flood made various attempts to prevent the flooding, including plating the earth in iron and using a miraculous sponge. The race of giants refused to repent because they believed they could simply stand above the flood waters. Some giants did in fact survive, most notably Og of Bashan. God mingled the rain water (which is male) with the water of the abyss (which is female) to procreate even more floods. The Land of Israel, however, was spared from the flood waters.
(Gen. R. 26; Tanh. Buber; PdRE 22); Midrash ha-Gadol; PdRE; B.T. Sanh.; Zeb. 113a; Nid. 61a)

Who says God doesn't like gays? It is the (straight-people oriented) organisations and leaders who say so, because they think they will get a "majority vote" out of it.
