Christians seem to criticise those who are not Christian without problem. I wonder if 'Christians' think that other 'Christians' are going to go to hell because they do not follow their form of Christianity?

You are right in what you say. At the end of the day it's not what christians think but what God thinks.

I'm guessing that, if it exists, most of those who go around making a big deal out of being CHRISTIANS will be taking up residence. Most all from what I read here, are guilty of pride and wrath, most were I live ( southern us.) are guilty of gluttony and lust ( and when you combine the two it leads to some really distubing images). I have yet to meet more than a dozen that are not deeply guilty of hypocracy.
Don't mind me, I live in the south, there is a baptist church on every block and the members all think that heaven has only room for about half their own congregation ( they are happy to point out which half) and as much as they hate --whoever-- it doesn't come close to their hatred for the next baptist church down the street.

The only way that "Christians" can go to hell is if their belief is NOT solid and they compromise the beliefs of Christianity. I agree with the fact that there are some Christians out there who are quick to judge others without problem but it is realy God who should be judging people

Well John, first of all, we are all human, and in some way or another we all judge. Even you do I'm sure. Is it right to judge? No it is'nt. There is a scripture that says- Lord, Lord! Did'nt we prophesy in your name? And He will say to them away from me you sons of perdition. So go figure. Alot of people who claim to be Christians will not enter the Kingdom according to the scriptures. I don't understand what you mean though by "their form of Christianity" though. Alot of people though will be left behind though. But am I, or anyone other than God able to determine who goes where? By no means. However, we are human beings, all with faults and have absolutely no room to judge anyone for any reason whatsoever!

Dear john s,

i think ultimately that's between every individual and God. As we read yahoo answers though there are certainly many individuals claiming to be Christians who share opinions contrary to Christ's (ie: those who are "racist" and claims God should wipe out a particular race, etc.) who are reflecting beliefs that have them facing towards "hell".

Ultimately it's not this or that form of Christianity it's what the Bible teaches. Not everyone who says they are a Christian are-- God ultimatley decides, but that does not mean there is not room for discernment-- esp. when people say things which are not of God or reflect attitudes which aren't Christ-like.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

I believe there are 3 groups of people in this world. True Christians who have a relationship with Jesus and live by their faith in Him, Professing christians who wear the christian label only without the faith and nonchristians. God judges, not I, but His Word says that only true christians who have faith in Christ and make Him master of their lives after accepting the gift of Salvation, have repented and changed and who have a relationship with Jesus will go to heaven. I guess that leaves anyone else in the lake of eternal fire. His Word.

Jude talks about false teachers within the church. These are not necessarily church leaders but also just everyday members who come to church like everyone else. They are enemies of God who twist the truth and who's purpose is to deceive and destroy the faith of the unsuspecting believer. These people may talk the talk but they don't walk the walk, nor do they bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit. As Christians we should recognize and expose false teachers, have compassion to those who were deceived and help them when we can. God will judge those who lead others astray.

Jesus said there were 2 roads which we could possibly take. The first, hard to find, and hardly traveled was the road to life. The second, broad and spacious, and cramped because so many were on it was the road to destruction. He said NOTHING about hell (eternal torment forever and ever). Christians who are not really following Christ but who are Christians in name only would be traveling the road to destruction. Jesus will say to them, "I never knew you."

It doesn't come down to what Christians think it is what the word of God says.
God says an adulterer shall not enter the kingdom this applies to those who call themselves... Christian.

Yes. Some 'Christians' think that other Christians will not go to heaven.
