Depends if you are talking about the real Jesus or the Jesus created by Saul of Tarsus.
If you're talking about the real Jesus, of the bloodline of the House of Judah, of the House of Akhenaten, the Essene High Priests, then he was a vegetarian, pacifist who hated all forms of violence.
See:
http://one-faith-of-god.org/new_testament/apocrypha/nazarenes/nazarenes_0010.htm
But if you're talking about the Jesus created by the Jewish High priests who were the same one who had him and his brother James killed, then yes, he was a blood thirsty satanist who celebrated simulated body and blood ceremonies, hated women and was a meglomaniac.
See:
http://one-faith-of-god.org/new_testament/apocrypha/founders_christianity/founders_christianity_0010.htm
You choose.
Unfortnately, most honest and good people who love Jesus tend to support the satanic image of Jesus rather than the true and historic view...

Followers of Jesus are to hate no one and love everyone. That being said followers should pray for the ones that do not know Jesus.

I am Jewish, I would hope you didn't hate me for not following Jesus. As for Jesus, He was a Jew himself, and Jews are open minded and are forgiving for exploration of your spiritual self. Jews however do not recruit...but somewhere down the line that changed with the new sects of Judaism...Christianity, catholics, so on. It would be wise not to preach onto others unless questions are asked of you (not saying you do, but overall). Every person should be on their own way and questioning and challenging their faith or religion. There is no right answer, until we meet our own creater.

No, Jesus would not like his followers hating non-believers.
Jesus taught that we are to LOVE OUR ENEMIES- That does not mean that we have to like them, it only means that we are to treat everyone the same.
Remember also that when Judas brought the soldiers to arrest Jesus, and Peter cut off the soldier's ear, that Jesus told Peter that if we live by the sword, we will die by the sword.

No, He does not condone His followers hating other people for not believing in Him. That is why we share our faith and pray for others. The spirituall work of mercy, instructing the ignorant, means that we tell others about Christ and help them understand His message.
IMHO,anyone who hates someone else for not beliving in Christ is not living the message. Christ loves all but hates the evil that some choose to do.
Hope this isn't confusing,
Mon :-)

Hating..no. Loving, helping, showing the way..yes. We have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We need hate no one. When a mistake, disrespect, sin, is seen there needs to be a right and honorable way of helping correct the sin/sinner. Jesus asked the Father to forgive those that were hanging Him to the cross and ridiculing Him. Hate the sin-love the sinner.

It's very simple, Jesus invited ALL people to his table. He spoke to women when it wasn't cool, had a tax collector as one of his apostles, spoke to Samaritan and people with leprosy. ALL were welcome....hate wasn't in his vocabulary. Anger was, but NOT hate.
