The Bible actually commands Christians to proclaim the Gospel to people (to the world) [Mark 16:15]. But how in the world can a Christian proclaim what the Bible says (i.e.- it says Jesus is the only way [John 14:6,Mark 16:16], all other gods are false[Isa. 45:22], witchcraft is forbidden, etc[5:19-20]) in public without being called a bigot, or being accused of using scriptures to "attack pagans"? Over & over again it seems that when I ask this question to pagans, they mostly say the scripture itself isn't bigoted, but it's bigoted to repeat it. Jesus said He is the only way [Mark 16:16], but when a Christian or monotheist says "Jesus is the only way, there are no other paths, period", we're called bigots (even though we tolerate the existence of other religions!). All Christians are doing is repeating what the Bible says- and we're not doing it to be spiteful- we believe in ONE truth for ALL as the Bible says. I'm tired of pagans resorting to namecalling. What's a Christian to do?

Fine, if you want to say God was created by a previous God who was created by a previous God, etc etc, then so be it. But to say God has always existed but it's impossible for the Universe to do the same thing, is beyond me.

Like Anger? Didn't Our Creator give us this ability to
release powerful spiritual energies We create, that could harm Our bodies?
But We tell everyone, "You can't act like that!" And
We hold it in, and it eats us up inside. Finally coming out

I was rasied at a catholic church while reading the bible a thought ran across my mind: Who created God?? Why are there so many logical explnations for everthing that make alot more sence then the way the bible discribed it. so i think i'm turning into an atheist and it seems alot easier to except the logical answers rather than the biblical answers. Is anyone in the same boat as me? And if so can u tell me some more on Atheistic points of veiw. Please excuse my spelling!!!!

Let's say your a Christian. What if Lord Shiva or Lord Ganesha began to appear in their physical form all over the Earth? What would you think? Would you start to believe these Gods were real? Would you think it was a delusion? What if you saw it yourself? If you could touch these God, and feal they were real? If I saw The Lord Jesus Christ appear; I'd say that He was telling Christians to be better Christians. I would not see it as a warning to convert to Christianiity. Or a warning that I should leave Hinduism. I'm just curious what a Christian would think about this.

I am sure that this has been brought up before, anyways.

So many atheists will say that it is impossible to prove a negative. So isn't hypocritical to say that you 100% do not believe in God?

And yes, I realize that I cannot disprove the existence of pink elephants controlling the universe. And no, I'm not making a case for theism here, just for agnosticism.

Why not be honest and follow your logic to it's conclusion, you do not know.

I saw a program on tv last night that talked about several groups (the Mayas, Merlin, etc...) predicting that the end of the world is in 2012. I was really disturbed by this and felt as if a doctor had told me have cancer and only 5 years to live. I have heard of other predictions such as 2050, 2076 etc... what is your opinion about people making these kind of predictions. Besides doesn't it say in the Bible that no one will know the "day or hour" in which Jesus will come again?? As a Christian, I am don't fear the rapture, but I don't see how these "christian" groups can make these kind of predictions if it clearly says in the Bible that we are not to know....

I'm a Hindu, but I'd like to hear what other Hindus thought this means. I'd also be curious what Christians think of it. Christians have told me the Hindu deities have no power. That I'm just praying to an object made of stone. But if Lord Ganesh has no power, then how could His deity drink milk? It can't be a delusion or hypnosis; because I saw it on film.
