'E' isn't a Christian. He's just another person mocking them by pretending to be a Christian idiot.

Don't be fooled.

Please.

For the sake of a religion that represents 2.1 billion people.

Don't be fooled.

Oh hey---so I don't get reported for this:

Are you being fooled by fake accounts making false representations here?

How can he allow us to make weapons that can kill millions of people with the press of button? Its like putting 2 Betta fish together and watching them kill each other. One would only do this because it would be fun to watch them to kill each other. Does god enjoy us killing each other while he stands there and does nothing?

Hebrews 4- (Messianic Jews)
Therefore, let us be terrified of the possibility that, even though the promise of entering his rest remains, any one of you might be judged to have fallen short of it; for Good News has also been proclaimed to us, just as it was to them. But the message they heard didn't do them any good, because those who heard it did not combine it with trust. For it is we who have trusted who enter the rest. It is just as he said,"And in my anger, I swore they would not enter my rest." He swore this even though his works have been in existance since the founding of the universe. For there is a place where it is said, concerning the seventh day," And God rested on the seventh day from all His works." And once more our present text says," They will not enter my rest." Therefore, since it still remains for some to enter it, and those who recieved the Good News earlier did not enter, He again fixes a certain day, " Today," saying through David, so long afterwards, ....

Atheists will commonly refer to God as the "God of gaps" when it comes to science. It seems common that when we can't totally explain the big questions, the beginnings of life and the universe, then theists will jump in with God. If we adopted that point of view, then wouldn't it follow that anytime we can't explain something, we should jump to God? Take lightning or plate tectonics, there's a lot of stuff we do not know about them, so why shouldn't we attribute them to God? Why just stop at life and the universe? What I'm trying to get you to see is that "God did it" is not a valid answer because of the above points.

I can think of one objection...

Life and the universe are exclusively of God and the other things while coming from God, are not actively controlled by him.

The only thing I can say is that unless he specifically said that I do not actively control these things, then isn't it an assumption on your part that he doesn't?

If priests believe in GOD and that living the life of SIN sends us to HELL, why have some chosen to abuse children? Surely they'll go to hell for that, or are they all part of the con too....

…primitive, nonsensical, religious crap is still being forced upon them in an age of great understanding and knowledge? You know, it’s like, teaching kids all we know about the universe and scientific principles, stuff that makes sense and is logically correct, but then they’re also being taught that there’s another world full of all powerful mythical beings to which logic and sense are not as important as faith and belief? Is this an age of conflicting knowledge? And maybe this causes confusion of information and manifests itself in anti-social behavior? Will a time soon come when we’ll be forced to decide whether to teach our offspring knowledge that is beneficial to our species progression, that makes sense and is logical or should we teach them knowledge that requires faith and belief?

Lately, I've been reading about Islam/Malcolm X, and I've learned a lot about The Black Man's history. The Muslim religion ( I've been raised Christian) teaches about a man named Malik Yacub. I would have to go on forever if I wanted to tell you completely about his story, but to sum it up briefly, Yacub was the prophet claimed to have "created" the white race. His existence was predestined, as Muslims believe that history is always predicted something like 25, 000 years in advance, as written in the Koran. ALSO predicted was that the white race would "rule" for 4000 years, and that their "time" would be up in 1914 (roughly).
So my question is, in this song, where Bob says:
"How long shall they kill our prophets/While we stand aside and look?/ Some say that it's part of it,/ We've got to fulfill the book."

What Book? Was he talking about the Muslim theory? What are your interpretations of this passage? It makes great sense to me why he'd say "some", since he wasn't Muslim.

Seriously, when people come on here to ask questions about their faith, can't they ask their questions without a bunch of atheists coming on and telling them that they are wrong and stuff. Just leave them alone and let them have their faith questions answered. We all know that you don't think their is a God, so could you just leave those questions alone?
