No it does not stop the Power of God, but when mean people or something negative happens, it many stun us for a split second, but immediately the Shield of God is right there to protect us. We are quick to heal and move on. Christians have the wisdom to not be offended, but to stand strong and know that good, prevails over evil. The Bible verse means, that when you are around evil and no matter what you do, you can not win the un-believers over, then turn you back and walk away. The un-believer can not be saved , unless they soften their hearts and accept God the Father. Not many works were done , because of people's un-beliefs. It is hopeless.

NOTHING stops the power of God. Have faith. God forgives us all our sins. He loves you. Remember you are human and prone to errors! it's ok!
