I think we've probably heard from just about all religions, and most non-believers. I'd like to hear what some Buddhists have to say. If any are on, Why is your's the best?

WHY THE HECK DOES HE NOT SHOW HIMSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!Come down in front of CNN(not fox news though) and declare "I am God..." blah blah blah! Why doesn't he do it? I've heard people say it's because of our free will:God doesn't want us to have to follow what he says. But then why did he write a religous book? Why did he create a universe where science and religion conflict? Why did he allow so many religions, making Atheism the truly logical choice? Ever wonder why there are so many Hindus and Buddhists in the East? Christianity was introduced there when the society alsready had a dominant religion. Very few children in India will convert to Christianity, because they were born in a culture of Hinduism. Of course they have heard of Christianity, but have rejected it because of conditions of birth.

I know I know....It's all satans fault and/or its a metaphor. Any alternative answers?

NO i just read someone answer and they said that they would never be in a religion of "hate"

the media associates jihad as a bloody war in the name of god...that isnt true..there are 2 types of jihad the greater jihad and the lesser jihad

the lesser jihad is the so called "bloody war" and it can only be carried out for protection purposes and to help the opressed so the war in palestine can be called the lesser jihad because the palestinians are protecting themselves from the oppressors

the greater jihad is when you conquer yourself EXAMPLE. you want to cheat on your test but then you remember god and forget wanting to cheat...that is the greater jihad

so jihad cannot be falsely thought of as a bloody war where muslims go and kill people

there are bad people in every religion and we all need to realize that

Yes what does it mean to die immedietly after viewing a total lunar ecilipse. My son died in my arms just four hours after. Is this a curse, alien conspiracy, bad luck and or timing or just the unexplained.

What are people of the Islamic faith taught about forgiveness of sins?

The ancients did sin offerings, and Christians believe that redemption came through Jesus' death. I don't know much about Islam, so what is the belief about divine forgiveness?

I have not read or seen the DVD and don't plan on it due to some of the reviews I have read. It appears that this material is marketed towards the lazy, materialistic, and wishful thinking types. The "secret" is not a new concept. It has been published before in many other type of self-help books. However, the "secret seems to be more geared towards gaining wealth and other materialistic needs as opposed to helping humanity. I would just like to hear your thoughts on this seemingly overated book/DVD.

I am talking about the idea of Hell being a place for eternal torture. Also the mythology that when one dies an essence or spirit separates from the body and goes somewhere. I am truly interested to know where these come from. I am looking for facts here. No silly or idiotic answers please.

We all know the kind of argument that goes "every building has a builder, and every painter has a painter" - In general, everything that is created has a creator, thus suggesting that the universe has a creator... but is the universe created? It's only a valid argument if the universe is indeed created... but then that's a logical fallacy of begging the question (assuming what you are trying to prove, i.e. that it has a creator).

Nevertheless, if you believe that the universe is created then here is your chance to demonstrate it. I expect facts and reasoning, not just "it's obvious innit?" :-)
