Any Catholic who truly understands the richness of the Catholic faith Tradition, and the fullness of all God's revealed truth, and then makes every effort to fully participate in the work, worship, sacraments, and devotions of the Catholic Church, has every right to be supremely hopeful and confident in Jesus Christ, and in his Church.
If that comes across as arrogance or pride, it's not.
True Catholics are humble, because they realize that it's God's grace that makes all good things possible, and we can accomplish little, all by ourselves.
It's trust in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, faith in the promises that God made to the only Church he ever personally founded, and most importantly, the comfort and peace of the real presence of Christ, in the authentic Holy Eucharist.
And because of all this, true Catholics know and love God in the most intimate way that's humanly possible, and they don't put up with heretical nonsense from anyone.

I'm Catholic, but I do see what you mean. The Catholic Church teaches that they were founded by Jesus himself, and that the RCC actually is THE church. This is claimed through apostolic succession. So my guess is that the RCC feels special.
However, what is MOST important, is that people accept Jesus as their personal Savior. The RCC acknowledges that there are denominations and other Christian churches. Anyway, Jesus is the main importance.
But I do understand what you mean :) Please don't let it bother you :)

I guess it's just you. What is it you are getting at? Catholics are sinners just like anyone else. One thing that they do have at their disposal is the fullness of the truth of the Gospel, if they desire it, and that is only God's grace.

It's really just you. Lots of people think this, not just catholics, and certainly not all catholics.
BTW, I'm not catholic either!

Catholic means universal. A Catholic christian is one who belongs to the universal Church and not to a sect.
