The Bible treats abortion basically as a misdemeanor, and specifically NOT as murder. Read this carefully:

Exodus 21:22: "When people who are fighting injure a pregnant woman so that there is a miscarriage, and yet no further harm follows, the one responsible shall be fined what the woman's husband demands, paying as much as the judges determine. 23 If any harm follows, then you shall give life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."

Now, clearly the Bible says "causing miscarriage" (i.e., causing a spontaneous abortion) = fine to be determined by the court. In modern society, we call that a misdemeanor.

"If any harm follows" - meaning the wife dies, then "eye for eye"

In other words, it clearly makes a distinction between an unborn child and the mother.

It really couldn't be clearer.

Obviously to answer with a Bible quote would be terribly illogical here.

My friends keep arguing about having sex to before marriage. One of 'em said that you would go to hell before marriage and the other said you can't. So I wanna know what verse in the Bible that it says something about that and show it to them so they can shut up.

OK y'all. Please don't be insulted. I mean no offense. I just curious. My question was prompted by another that asked "What happens when Atheists die?"

There are, of course, all sorts of ways to celebrate the life of the deceased which have nothing to do with religious ceremony. However, in terms of the actual burial, does it pose a problem? Pretty much all cemetaries are run by some religious organization or another so would an atheist object to being buried behind a church, or in a catholic or jewish cemetary. Am I mistaken altogether? Are there cemetaries that are not religiously affiliated?

if you dont believe in god or the existance of a higher power other than to stir up trouble, belittle people or point out what you may believe are flaws in someones life why do you ask and answer so many questions here? and before you do that to me i dont know if there is a god or not but i would never degrade somebody who does.
