I am so happy that Jesus died for me to take my sins away so I could join him in heaven when my time comes. Jesus is awesome..

In Islam he wasn't killed :) we believe that God wouldn't let someone as precious as Jesus get killed like that,and therefore he sent someone that looks like him and elavated the soul of Jesus.
I know others have a different opinion but then again that's the whole point of the question.

We all speak about this issue as an event or something we knew since we were kids that now, it does not even penetrate to more than our ear drum. If we had the time or chance to think deeply about it, or maybe read about it a little bit more, I think it should change the way we are living out lives.
I am not saying we should get moved or emotionally excited forever, but I think its something much bigger than the way we talk about it !

No, we should be happy he was resurected, that he made miracles, that the saints who followed him could make miracles, and that there is a Christian communion that supposed to guide us through life and after to lead us in heavens, like in the promised land. But we should be happy for his life as it was without judging it on moments cause we don't know all information.

Although the murder of Jesus Christ was horrific, He knew it had to happen for Him to complete the act of Atonement.
By dying and being resurrected, He enabled us to be ressurected when we die.
All part of the Plan of Salvation.
Sad He had to die that way, happy that He did it for me.

I am not happy about the way he died...but I sure am thankful that he had the GUTS and the faith in God's will....to do what he did for me. That is great love what He did.

I find it very sad that he was tortured and killed for us.
What I am is "thankful"!
And, be careful with the word "should".....I'll let you guess why.

i dont think we should be happy or sad i think we should appreciate what Jesus did for us and remember what a great person he was and how good he was to mankind.

Absolutely!!!!Without His death, we would all go to hell. He paid the price of our sins by dying in our place.

yes,we have benn forgiven of our sins and is a new person who is not as "unclean" to God as before
