Do you think when the spirit of God is flying over the surface of the waters he looks at his reflection?

Have you considered the possibility that he might like chocolate cake and orange juice?

Have you ever considered what type of car jesus would drive if he were still alive? I'm thinking a hybrid or an electric car.

Do you think Jesus would trade in his sandals for shoes with straps like old people wear, would he wear lace up shoes or loafers? Probably moccasins, right?

Have you considered God in jeans?

What about trousers?

Apparently it's politically correct to accept people of other origins/races, sexual orientation, etc., yet it seems like religion is just the opposite. Why is it that all these other things are accepted with open arms, yet most religions are rapidly being put aside? And how is it concidered politically correct? Isn't the point to accept all people, no matter what?

I've noticed a lot of muslims get angry when I try to lovingly reach out to them, so I'm thinking about mailing bibles to each of them as a gesture of friendship.

Who know, maybe I'll even save a couple of souls along the way?

Bonaventure speaks of revelation in terms of 3 books. Can you name, and briefly describe what these three books mean?

For example, the prophesy of the virgin birth was due to a 3rd century conflation of the Hebrew word for "virgin" and "young girl".

Because of early marriages, a young girl would not have been automatically considered a virgin.

Sheep aren't exactly the sharpest knife in the animal kingdom knife drawer. i don't mean any disrespect to Christians, but i've always wondered if any of you guys had ever noticed/thought about that while reading the Bible.

I ask this seriously, many modern religions and mythologies and saga fictions line up.

I'm asking a serious question.

Also - wookies. What do wookies represent. Do they really represent the hairy barbaric greeks?

I noticed, seems nothing outside of the ordinary happens...,

Not much of a miracle to me.

Heard of people changing diets, living better, quitting smoking, & maybe cancer goes into temporary remission...

Things like that, or the "miracle" of being healed (after taking doctor's medications to fix it).

What gives? Where are the bloody miracles?

We are all humans, sinners, and individuals that all learn daily. Furthermore, we do change our perspectives as we continual learning new things about ourselves, this temporary life, and the oracle's of God.

My perspective of what I ascertain about all Religions, is that all are incomplete of the truth. So I tend to skip the middle man, and go to the source... God, whom is my religion. This way there is no more problems. Do we need these religions to connect with God? No. And I do know that God does work in most all religions. So is there a need for all these religions to bash one another. We are all learning in our own ways, and levels. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why we are here on earth, to learn to build our spirits for eternity.

Some people say you have to live forever & ever, no choice, God forces you to live forever & ever & ever, no matter if you want to or not.

You will burn in hell, or live in heaven.

I don't hate God, I can see a reason why to do things for him (sort of, if you really cared), but also, I don't see why non-existence can be so hard for the God of the "impossible".

I never asked to come here (so should not be bound to following rules that God created, since I was FORCED to be here, even though I did not wish to).

Why can't I just go back into non-existence? If I want a thing badly, and God doesn't even care enough to give it to me? What kind of monster is that?

I don't care for living forever, whether for good or evil, I just simply want to cease living, ok? I want my right to die forever, to never be alive, to be as though I never were (not burning in hell or living in heaven, simply because some monster decided I better live & obey them etc.)

What can I do? Commit suicide in hell?

Try to remember now. Go back into your history and see if it was that neighbor everyone loved, or your uncle harry, or any one of those seemingly innocent looking people.

Also, can you look at this person through critical eyes and see where they come from? Why they were like that?

If so, you must believe in unicorns too!:

Job 39:9-12: Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? Canst thou bind the unicorn with band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee? Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him? Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?

Psalms 29:6: He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

Numbers 24:8: ...he hath as it were the strength of a unicorn

Clearly, all creationists deny that the biological theory of evolution is valid. (That's what the definition of creationist is-as I use it anyway). I am only wondering how much of them go further to deny the physical sciences as well. Some accept the geological age of the earth (in the billions of year) and the cosmological age of the universe (also in the billions of years), such as the Jehova's Witnesses. Others reject these time scales, despite the fact that they have nothing to do with biological evolution, because of a literal interpretation of biblical chronology.

If you are a creationist, do you only deny evolution, or anything in science that contradicts your sense of scriptural chronology? Do you believe that every event in the Bible (like the flood) literally happened?

Also, is there any reason why you feel evolution contradicts your faith, besides a literal interpretation of the Genesis narrative?

For example, it seems to me that Islam has influenced mines (Jainism) to a great extent thousands of years ago. That is why it is so difficult for me to believe what is happening today. I've known a lot of Muslims in my 22 years, I've even gone to school, college, university with them and they have never ever said anything or done anything to offend me.

I didn't see her do it, but I saw her biking in the vicinity of my car, she would have had an opportunity to do it late at night and has a plausible motive (i.e. dislikes me).

Should I just let karma take care of it?
