My wife is a little sick and going through a rough patch at work. I'm really hoping that she has a better day today than yesterday and feels better too. Will the christians pray for her? I will let you know what the result is this evening. Ho: no effect.

I noticed that when someone says that the laws of the old testament, especially the one's of Moses, seem to be cruel and very harsh (e.g: kill who curses his parents), Christians say they were limited at a specific time and place. Okay, then why did Jesus say this in the new testament?
Matthew 5:17 " Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law of Moses or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. "
Matthew 5:18 "In truth I tell you, until HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS AWAY, not even the SMALLEST STROKE of a letter will pass away from The Law.'"
Matthew 5:19" 'So anyone who breaks the LEAST of these commandments or teaches others to do so will be called "least" in the kingdom of heaven"

Do you think this will scare someone off?
I will be smiling when i say it....
Did you know how the Russians use to torture people? No, I will tell you...
Wet a towel, twist it, shove it down somebody's mouth. All the way till the stomach digests it, then pull it out along with the intestines. It takes a week for someone to die slowly. Can you imagine walking around with you intestines hanging from your mouth? See you tomorrow.

I am not sick by the way.

Out of 152 replies that I received to the questions I asked this morning, ONE was unkind.

Don't get me wrong, I don't advocate doing away with religion or Christianity. I was raised Christian myself, and I think that some are quite lovely people. There are some, however, who fail to take the teachings of Jesus to heart, and those can be some of the meanest people you will ever meet.

Wot's worse, their own self-righteous belief that they are superior, for being a Christian, fuels the very non-Christian behavior that makes them so difficult to tolerate.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I was told that by a local Witness that it meant Jehovah and that we all used his name without knowing it as in when we sing or say Halelujah. I asked did this mean that Elijah was in fact Jehovah but she did not answer me, she seemed flustered made her excuses and went on her way. I have seen her since but she seems to just shun me.

1* What you do outwardly that people see, is your reputation with people.

2* What you do and think inwardly that people do not see, is your reputation with God.

NOTE: {Good works alone will not get one into Heaven according to the Bible. One's inward person plays a huge role in how God views & judges us in the end.}

There are many cases in the world that non Christians especially Muslims, are paid lots of money to join Christianity. There are people out there will join for the sake of money. But they are fake Christians. They only want alot of membership.

I know an ex-Christian who was asked to look for Muslims to convert to Christian. And both will get paid few thousand dollars. Is Christianity about membership and business?

See this video abt fake Christians.

"The role of fear in religion plays on the insecurity of humankind. We’re afraid because we categorically don’t know who’s right or wrong. We seek solace and comfort in the fact that there’s a full cathedral, church, mosque, temple or synagogue—after all, if so many people believe in this practiced religion and attend, then they must be right. Religious leaders know this; consequently, they try to convert as many as possible to their own belief."

i read this Quote somewhere, what is your opinion on this?
