We don't get reincarnated as animals. The consciousness that we have obtain doesn't get lost. Of course if we need to learn the lesson of being an animal again then God can reincarnated us but that is not the usual practice.

I would like to say something like a puppy, because I love puppies, they are really cute.
Logically I would say a horse. When a horse is born it knows pretty much everything it needs to know about being a horse. It's a bit wobbly on it's legs at first but then it's good to go.
People, on the other hand, have to be taught everything. When a human is born it doesn't really know how to function. When it's hungry it cries, when it messes itself it cries, when it wants attention it cries. That's pretty much all babies do for the first couple of weeks. It's a shame people have lost their inherited survival instincts.

A platypus.
Of course reincarnation doesn't happen, it's completely illogical to suggest that an animal that is born after you die is somehow 'you' despite having different thoughts, experiences, feelings, et cetera.

I would come back as a cat or an elephant because they are my two most favourite animals. I have always loved cats, but I lost my beautiful boy two months ago and miss him so much. Cats are warm, cuddly and give so much amusement and pleasure. Elephants are graceful and magestic in spite of their size and they are very intelligent.

A snake, I was born the year of the snake, so why not go back, wait a minute a sloth, to move so slow they must not be stressed at all.

crow.
You're large enough not to be worried about raptors, but small enough that you aren't usually hunted. You get to fly. crows and ravens are some of the smartest birds in the world.

A bird... I like the idea of free bird seed and free housing and unlimited travel.
Silly question tho... Reincarnation is the belief of pipe-dreamers and idiots. LOL
