This sickening movie was an outright abomination against God Almighty!!.........It does not show or tell the truth about the reason Jesus came to the earth in the first place; for the salvation of the world and for everyone to repent of their sins; the Kingdom of God is coming!!.......The movie never addressed the true issues of Christ or even tried to show the true perspective of His Gospels. It is Blasphemous to show or mimic the death of Jesus Christ let alone not showing or even putting any emphasis at all on His resurrection from the dead as a victory over death for all who are of Christ Jesus!!........This sorry excuse for a movie is surely of the devil, and Mel Gibson the devil's advocate....... the actual star of the movie was Satan of whom you didn't see and the best supporting actor was Mel Gibson of whom you didn't see either!!.........They both work well together to try and destroy the Christian faith while posing as angels of light to deceive the masses who are so easily led astray.........

One is that Mel Gibson became one of the best evangelizers of our century, because he taught people about Jesus. He taught people who Jesus was by telling us the story of Jesus life, death and resurrection. If we tell people who Jesus is, we become evangelizers also.
Another is the great power of sacrifice and the reason why God allows pain and suffering. Pain and suffering can lead to life, liberation and salvation. Pain and suffering have a salvific value especially when united to the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross.
Mel Gibson had theologians who served as consultants or who advised him about the movie. So in the movie, Mel Gibson tried to portray the direct connection between the Mass, the consecration and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. When Jesus died, the photography was very powerful. The eye of Jesus in the movie was focused on the viewer. The pupil and iris of His eye was photographed to convey a powerful message. It was as if Jesus was directly talking to the viewers and telling them a message. Jesus showed how much He loved us to the point of dying for us so that He could open the gates of heaven for us. The movie showed that we must not be afraid to get hurt if we really care or love our brothers and sisters. We should be able to be ready to die for them if we have to. This is the concept of Christian witnessing to Christ.
We also saw how Mary was there to help Jesus as a child and as an adult. He drew strength from Mary, His mother and she was shown as Co redemptrix. She gives Jesus the strength to carry the cross. She consoled Him as a child and said "I am here." I guess we can also go to Mary as she is a mother to us. Jesus gave her to us on the cross when He said "Woman behold your son. Son behold your mother." We can go to Mary if we need help and consolation.
